We need this?
Never say never :)

You can usually delete anything you add from here.
If you want to delete a game, you probably added the game you want by mistake, so enter the title in the Search box on the upper left to extract and delete it.
Usually, the purpose of the game is not to collect the prizes, but to play the winning prizes, so there is no major problem in the current situation.
I can't help but think that some add-on had a similar function.
..ESGST! It might have been.

I just realized a couple days ago that I wasn't seeing giveaways for a game on my wishlist because it was also on my blocked list. I don't know when it happened, but I must have clicked the wrong game by accident when I meant to add a different game to the block list. It would be nice if there was some kind of way to automatically check for conflicts between the 2 lists.
Being able to sort the list by the date added would be nice and I wouldn't think it would be that difficult since it already shows the date each game was added to the list. This would be helpful if you accidentally block the wrong game, but don't know what game you clicked on. My list is currently over 19k, so I try to be careful and not block anything I am not positive about, but clearly I already made a mistake.

The workaround for now would be to load all pages via endless scrolling feature of some script and Ctrl+F to search for "minutes" or "hours" ago, depending on when you added the game to the list (that is, if you instantly realized you added it by mistake).

I hide a lot of games. If something new catches my attention, Iāll usually just double check that I havenāt previously hidden it. In several cases I have. While I would love the ability to sort my hidden games by date hidden, cause Iāve had a couple misclicks too, itās ultimately not a big deal (to me). If Iām not actively looking to enter giveaways for a particular game, Iām probably not going to really miss it. Iād say if a particular game you want isnāt showing up, just check your hidden list. Otherwise, as annoying as it might be, chances are you wonāt miss the game you accidentally hid.

I get introduced to most new games by seeing them on SG. I rarely ever check bundle sites. If I'm interested in a game it's because I usually see it here. So I can't want something if I don't see it heh. And also because I just want to know what the game was dammit! Heh

Apparently this is a thing now! https://www.steamgifts.com/account/settings/giveaways/filters/search?sort=added

I didn't read what was told about ESGST above
There is some table sorting thing (I haven't really used so don't know if works only on first page)
but I agree with you, some filter things would be nice, I have 21+k hidden and occasionally (mostly through giveaway trains) I find out that I have hidden good games few years ago

They said it could probably be done through ESGST but I said there wasn't any filter options that would help, unless I had to add them manually. But I checked ESGST settings just now and I don't see any.
The sorting on the page is lame. It only sorts from a single page and the game names are alphabetical. Not helpful at all.

sorting works by alphabetical or chronological (for latter is right above dates)
checked second ago, that it works with endless scrolling, I remember I once had those 21+k entries loaded, took some minutes to get there :P (rn have 846 pages, each pages takes 2+ seconds)
but most certainly good solution for small hidden list
EDIT: if searched game is not very far off in alphabet then it can be much faster, as you could put chronological filter ascending and press continous load button then it automatically loads and sorts pages on the go

not that it'll help you finding that particular game, but to prevent it from happening again - i use the one-click hide on esgst and the option under it that will fade a game instead of instantly making it disappear.
so hiding games is quicker, and if i accidentally hide something, i can undo it right away without issue.
also, instead of hiding games you could try using the filter tool. i started using it recently and it's pretty handy.

Can we have search filters for the hidden games list? I thought I hid a game accidentally and went to check in the hidden games list but there was no way to filter for the last game I hid. I have almost five thousand games hidden so I was SOL. I'll never know if it was a decent game or not that was hidden and won't show up in the giveaways anymore.
Also there's no way to remove all hidden games at once. You have to do it one by one so yea that's not happening either.
There needs to be search filters for the hidden games section like: ordering by date hidden; ordering by price; ordering by if it's dlc or base game; ordering by bundled or unbundled; ordering by game having CV or no CV, etc. You should be able to order by more than one filter, i.e. order by date first, then order by bundled/unbundled etc.
Edit: wow CG really did do it naooo! Thx CG!
