I have 12, but not the other two, so I don't know the difference.

Try Might and Magic - Duel of Champions.
It's free, it doesn't milk you to oblivion with yearly releases, decks, and whatnot.
And the game does get new cards in forms of expansions you can unlock with ingame currency too.
It has factions, schools of magic, and offers a pretty nice level of strategy.
Not to mention some decent innovations.
You'd be surprised how competent the game is.

As much as I agree with the yearly releases and decks; I find the pricing to be very reasonable considering I've payed about 10 dollars for 2013 to get everything in a sale and have gotten over 70 hours out of it already. But I'll check it out, thank you :)

If you hate the deck limitations why not play Cockatrice?

Just buy 2014 after it is released.
DO NOT PREORDER.
Otherwise you'll be punished for this insolence by getting a 1/10th shorter game. As a preorder "bonus", you get Chandra's deck fully unlocked, so you get less content to play and unlock.

I recomend you to search "magic workstation".
You can get a free license and then download ALL the sets in text only format or all the cards images (couple of gigs).
Me and my brother have been playing this TCG for about 14 years, and this is the best way to try new deck (build your own) and to play online for free.

I liked both 2012 and 2013, already preordered 2014. One has the Archenemy mode and the other has the Planechase. I did enjoy both though I have to admit that 2012 multiplayer had quite a few issues.
I'd say you'd enjoy it, but if you are unsure just wait for a sale. The Gold Bundle goes on sale quite often and for a quite good price.

Hello. As a big fan of Magic the Gathering, I naturally love the Duels of the Planeswalkers, even if they are pretty limited in what you can do with the decks. This will likely get a small change in 2014, with the inclusion of Booster Packs, etc.
I was wondering, I'm definitely going to buy 2014, and I loved 2013, but is it worth it to buy 2012 as well just for some extra fun, campaigns, different decks, etc.? Is it worse in any way besides the manual mana tapping problem?
Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts.
