It's basically GMG's deal, but over there I think you can also use the 20% off code to make it less.

I kind of doubt that since it's an item that gives you cashback/credit.

I wasn't sure, but I thought I had heard you could use it.

EDIT: Even if not, the cashback/credit makes it the better deal anyway :p

Does GMG pull money from your bank straight away, or do they wait until the game is released?

They take it straight away. So does Steam.
The only online store I know that doesn't is ShopTo

Well, poop.

Does anyone know if the retail version of Bioshock is steam redeemable?

My guess is that it is, since it seems to use steamworks.
There is no mention of GFWL on the box, and it isn't published by EA of Ubi.

It seems that all other digital stores wait what pre-order bonuses Valve offers on Steam and then do the same exact thing only a bit cheaper.

seems like most of their sales in general lately. almost any time something's on sale on steam you can usually find it cheaper on gmg or amazon lately. can't remember the last time i purchased a game directly from steam tbh

They point was they are just copycats because their sales look disturbingly similar to those of Steam.

But they can't exactly copy the tf2 promos that valve gives out, those can be usually sold after becoming tradable for a couple of games or such.

So... am I missing something? Why are people saying it's worse than the GMG deal when it's essentially the GMG deal, only you get 30% back as Blue Coins(in reality you get 35% back since by default you get 5%)? That's more than GMG's 7$ if it even still works.

Is it just me or are blue coins a ripoff?

Don't like GG after Bethesda NYC, and I want XCOM. Hoping Steams pre-order fills up!
