When I changed my username,a GA creator contacted me cause I "entered his giveaway bypassing the SGT door". After we spoke about it, and with the SGT creator (Kynss, is it?) the name change was the trouble. Could that be your case too?

Another way this could happen is if one marks a GA as not received that otherwise would make you not pass the rules. Not saying that's what happened here, but it's another way one can get banned.

If that were the case I suppose you are right, but the only thing that has changed is that today/yesterday I won 3 games and I marked them as received :|

What actually happens if you meet a certain ratio, you enter, and your ration changes so you won't meet the requirements, you forgot the giveaway?

My understanding is that SGTools is a one-time check: it logs that you passed it and adds your name to the list. thereafter, it only checks if your name is on the list, not if you still meet the criteria

If you look at the SGTools thread you'll see that there are two types of punishments on SGTools.
Infractions and Bans:
- Infractions limits only the entry of protected giveaways during a period of time, depending on how many times you got an infraction. An infraction is when you enter a protected giveaway without a valid entry on SGT and the Giveaway creator reports it.
- Ban limits the access to the whole giveaway section, you cannot even view it anymore. Bans are reserved to the worst offenses: Leaking a giveaway URL and Misuse of Giveaway Feedback to bypass restrictions. Bans are permanent.
You are seeing a BAN screen, so the second one applies. If you want to discuss the details on why you were banned, feel free to add me on steam.

So I just tried to enter a protected GA and SGtools says that I've been banned because I tried to enter a protected GA without permission. That never happened. Anyone has had this issue before? What should I do?

PS: I sometimes do go to a entered GA that's gonna be active for weeks and take my entry away if I need the points, re-entering later again... But it shouldn't be a problem because I have already go through the rules checking, right?
