I'm french. Until now, i was able to find your puzzle, sometimes it's obvious, sometimes I have to find the right word (it's cool, i'm learning :)) but today, it's harder and seems culture related.

While I may not abhorr math even the slightest, I must insist upon you to join in on the fun (it is fun, I promise). There's not much math involved in solving the nonos, honestly. There is, however, an awful lot of counting squares (1, 2, 3, ...) and a mix of logic.
But, I must insist, dear MissDefi, to at least give the nonos a chance because it doesn't give you a lame number or formula when completed; it presents your endeavor in the way of an (hopefully beautiful) image.
May I be so bold as to recommend this nonogram as a starting point? Please give it a shot. (Hint: The 8 in the top of the nonogram will make a vertical line straight down, and can work as a base for the numbers on the left side.) Please reply to this comment, or watch the instructional video in the original post, if you were to have any questions. Good luck.
