Revelations 2012. It's very creative, and unforgiving as hell. I like that in my games.

I'm ok with most of the games in this thread, but Flatout 3? Really? I played one race and it's just crap, the sound, the mechanics, the graphics, just awful xD

  • The Movies (Also: The movies stunts and effects or The Movies: Superstar), I love this game, you can spend days making just a 3 mins. "movie" on the "End game" or the sandbox. Most people just can't understand it... That's a shame, because it was an awesome game and just had a little expansion... Then It died shortly after that. As a side note, I made a video for a class at my school using the game and it was showed at a local cinema... :P
  • Spore: Same thing as The movies, great game even with it's flaws, but again, most people just gets tired of it too fast... Last expansion (Galactic adventures) added a lot of missions and playtime, also fixed a few problems.

Not really loved... Showed it to a lot of people and also lend it to a few friends and... As they said, it was just too confusing and not engaging, so, not really fun as a game. People who love the game and still play it are just too imaginative and creative, and will use it mostly as a tool to do something outside the game... ยฟNot your case?.

Spore was pretty darn enjoyable, even if it wasn't everything that they said it would be. Gotta love the last phase with lots of space expansion.

They promised lots of things, more like a universe game where you can do almost anything... Bad thing is after 10+ years of development it was urgent just to release it, too bad the sales just weren't great and the bugs and trouble with the servers where too much for the community to grow fast from the start as they envisioned. Still is a good game, love to play it from cell stage to space age on one sitting creating new creatures each time.

Both of these were good, but had a lot of room for improvement. Spore is one of my favorite games despite it's shortcomings though...

Fallout Tactics. Most people rate that as the worst Fallout, but I like it the most because I really liked the tactical combat side of Fallout.

This. I wouldn't say it's my favorite, but I thought it was extremely good (like every Fallout game) and finished it multiple times.

Dead Island
Dead Island Riptide
Land of the Dead Road to Fiddler's Green ( PC ver, patches made by fans :P Otherwise I would say stay away. )
Diablo 3
Hellgate London
Heroes of Might and Magic 6
Gothom City Imposters ( though its been a while since I played it. )

Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City. ( Keep in mind, I played this a LOT on console, and eventually bought the PC version on sale.. have not played it much due to bouncing back n forth on other games.. and not enough people play the MP on PC :( )

Final Fantasy 7 ( I am saying it due to there seems to be a "hipster" thing going about of hating it. Hell I know several people who played the hell out of that game and claimed how awesome it was but now claim it was a bad game and everyone that loves it are stupid/ect )

Final Fantasy 8 ( Game that, oddly a lot of FF fans did not seem to like as much. But I personally loved it. Probably does not help that I used to be a lot like Squall minus the whiny bits. )
Final Fantasy 10-2 ( Yes.. I actually liked it... Don't judge.. Riku and Pain look nice.. stop looking at me like that... )

So far I am liking The Last Remnant a lot.
So far liking Warlock: Master of the Arcane.
So far I like Trapped Dead.

Can not think of any others that I know people seem to hate at the moment.. I am sure there are tons more tho.

Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 - Sure, it was cheesy as hell, but it had some rather fun campaigns. Now, Uprising, on the other hand... Had to quit in the last scenario of the Soviet campaign, it made me rage so much. Guess I'll go back to it some day in the future.

Yea I admit I am one of those people who have bashed it. I do like the game though.. just for a FF game I was disappointed with it due to the combat mechanics & what the requirements for the Zodiac Spear was. ( Felt it was more than a little bad that the only way you could get the best weapon was to look up a guide and/or buy a guide. )

At least it was a lot better than 13 though :P But that is just how I feel about it. ( BTW. Have the.. CE or LE of FF12.. can not remember what it was called now.. it was the one that came in the tin case, and bonus disks with the making of and the OST for it. Something I wish they would have done for FF7.8,& 10 :P Would have gladly bought those. )

Final Fantasy II. Yeah, I said it. Favorite one the series too. What?! Just ask why.

EDIT: That's a 2 not and 11. 11 was a turd. The only reason it took so long to reach max level was because it took 2 months to install. If you know what I'm talking about then this should bring back "fond" memories.

Wait.. people disliked FF2? Most people I know who are fans of the game series like that one.

Now I honestly can not say anything though about the Online games.. have not played them at all.. I thought about it from time to time though.. Think the fact that it was a FF game made for MP that scared me due to I know there would not have been much of a focus on storyline. ( More tempted to try the newest FF MMO though I admit. )

Would be interresting to hear what you liked about FF2 ^^ For me 2 and 12 are the weakest ones in the series and they have a lot in common.. both have experimental game-systems that sound very interresting in theory but just dont work well and ended up boring me to death.. and the same is true for their stories.. in theory they are fine and if you put aggregations of all FF-Stories side by side, I guess 2 and 12 would not sound less interresting than the other ones.. but in practice, the narration somehow fails and the games never got me caring about the characters, gameworlds or events.. on top of both having the worst soundtracks.. not really bad either, but they fall short in comparison (some exceptions excluded of course ^^). For me, FF2 ist mostly interresting because it introduced a lot of the "typical FF-elements"... and you can REALLY feel the original "Star Wars"-inspiration there ^^

Long story short, FF2 (and 12) have a lot of interresting points, but for me they just didnยดt work out and its hard to nail down why exactly.. for example: In comparison FF1 doesnยดt really have much of a story and a really dull game-system.. but I still enjoyed it a lot more than FF2.

Yeah, would be nice if you could share your opinion ^^
