I guess it's based on the value of recent purchases as I haven't bought anything for few months and got only 1000 tokens.

The initial number of tokens you received is based on previous purchases made on your account.

I got 2500 tokens, while my friend who only plays Dota got 100

You can get lots of hours in terms of game length if that's how you evaluate if it's "worth it". Gameplay/presentation wise you should look up videos of it yourself because from what I seen over the years this game is pretty much a "love it or hate it" affair for most people.

Most people would recommend it and my playtime might point to it too, but I'm just warning you that DD doesn't really respect your time. You'll lose people and you'll grind people out. The game doesn't allow you to grind too much though, so sometimes you'll lose around 10 hours of progress just because the game forced you to do the harder dungeon.

my biggest problem is that while the lore and story and mood and all is wonderful, it's a very slow game, and I just found it boring.
The problem is you're literally waiting minutes between things. If you don't mind off pacing, it's great. But if the pacing gets to you, it sucks

Ayyy, happy to have perhaps helped here.
I already got The Sunless Sea a while back from a cheap Humble Bundle, but it was at a time when I bought any cheap bundle game that had a good enough looking concept or reviews. So I had to look at this review, twice now, to see if I'd be interested in playing it. A bunch of other games have come between me and The Sunless Sea, but I'm pretty sure the review's displayed this quite honestly, like with the other games.

Glad to hear you like it. The game looks like something I'd enjoy as well, but other games have taken precedent. I'll get to it some day though.

The reviewer's really damn good in my opinion. I recommend checking out his other reviews too if you liked him in that one. Reviews have definitely moved into a territory of "not being a corporate robot that works at IGN". The newer ones have either crazy editing and edgy humor like SsethTzeentach or are calm like they are in real life and they instead use their calm demeanor to really talk about video games, like the guy I showed, MandaloreGaming. Or maybe you're into more serious criticism and analysis, then you'd like Joseph Anderson. Today's reviewing landscape is amazing and awesome. As a person who was in that crowd for a while, this is like a dream come true for me :D

Star Trek™: Bridge Crew down to 12€ a new historic low? Vaguely remember it being 20 bucks straight for the last 2 or 3 sales.

Now if only Morrowind publishers too could see the relations coming into play here oO

Mind you, it's still 15€-30€, unlike with most other games where a -75% would mean 5€-10€.

Still a solid price. If I had enough money, I'd genuinely be contemplating getting it. Though I'd probably not since I'd want the Season Pass too considering how fun the DLCs look this time around.

I heard the dlcs are really bad except the vietnam and i was dissapointed as when they announced them i was actually expecting something innovative but i may be wrong.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I dunno, 3 DLCs. One in Vietnam, one on Mars and one in a zombie apocalypse. If that's not varied or innovative for a game like Far Cry 5 (a.k.a. a stealth-action FPS with open-world aspects), then nothing really is. It's not like you could or should just completely stray from your game either by making like a city-builder DLC or something. To me, this is as innovative as things like this can get.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yes i totally agree with you, when i read about those dlcs that were promised i was really excited for the same reason that you are. But after their release i saw a few reviews of some youtubers i like and they werent really happy with what they got. But without playing them i cant vote for anything.
