Abyssal Ascent Steam Group!

1st time I came across you was in your Battle with Lyme thread. Hope you are doing better if not you did not get worse. <3 I came across your group shortly when I was looking for groups to join. I've been wanted to ask is there a Developer in your group? Is there some kind of interaction? I am curious as that would have been a great as individuals like myself sometimes like to hear what difficulties Devs face in the development process. What is the general direction of your group?

Thanks a lot for the encouraging words. They really help us all I think, in some sorta way - just by being a positive thought. Eh, maybe not, but I like to think that way, so I appreciate it much!

We do correspond with various developers from time to time on stuff. It's usually through the curator connect system steam has, so they offer something to accept if we want to try, and they can comment and leave info, or just send it over. It depends on the person usually. We try to find some games out there that maybe aren't as noticed, and bring some light on those developers - the "diamonds in the rough", so to speak. Some are popular games, but they're just so good we hope that it helps adding more curator information to promote their games.

I think the main goal is to get more exposure and help developers, since somebody can see stuff we recommend by browsing, or on steam store pages, it may show a game we like or dislike at a store page. So, it can be helpful if we can get a little bit more out there to help. The main thing is developers, and getting some good games a little more chance of having somebody try it out, if they check out the curation and/or agree with some of our material. Hard to put into the right kinds of words, but something like that anyway.

Yes, indeed, keep that positivity UP^ if you're sick but feel positive, you feel better. If you're sick and feel negative, you'll just get worse don't you think. Its often said that your mood can affect your health, in the case of Dementia, positive moods can help prevent it as it was said. No harm being a little more positive, happier nor spread that little love to anyone.

That is the 1st time I read about how the curation works on Steam, i guess its a much bigger picture than I thought it is as I thought most relations are external with other sites or media like twitter. I once saw an user that mentioned he was a developer or something close to it when I was checking your group thus I came up with the question.

Not a threat but I always prefer to be frank and upfront and I look into having interaction or being a part of a helpful, friendly interactive group, aka I am picky. Thus, I try to pick Steam Friends and Groups rather than just adding to enter gifts and such. Hope its relatable. :D
