I redeemed all of them on my paypal account. If I want to buy something, will all the coupons be used or just one?

It will automatically be used if your paypal is created from one of those countries and be used on steam. Just make sure to check before confirming purchase

If your paypal doesn't belong to any of the countries that has the respective offers it will not work.

I redeemed a DE coupon with a French PP account a couple of hours ago, so it's not exactly true.

Well Europe is too messy for me to understand how they work there. But as far as i know i tried it with an Asia's paypal and a UK's paypal. Asia's doesn't work at all but UK one works.

Edit found out there is an EU one, which is basically for you guys. https://www.paypal.com/es/webapps/mpp/offers?view=details&offerId=6JQPNKCVTNPEN

Maybe it's more of a currency restriction than a country one?

Worked in NL using the DE link. I followed the German link, added it to my account and proceeded to add €20 to my steam wallet using paypal. Got redirected to the paypal website where it listed the info about the offer, paid, €15 was removed from my paypal account and €20 was added to my steam account.

At what checkout stage did you see the coupon being applied?
EDIT: apparently PP shows it, https://www.steamgifts.com/go/comment/BLjMUFD - unless you have preapproved all PP payments to Steam

It was shown after logging into paypal after being redirected to paypal from steam. It showed a bunch of text about the offer being applied and I could choose if I wanted to use my paypal funds or another method. (the same thing you showed an image off 2 posts below this one =p)

The German link says the limit is 13,000 now, let's see if it still works tomorrow when the sale starts, because I'm not adding wallet cash to Steam before I'm absolutely certain that I will find something worth buying.

It's too bad the US isn't having something like this. :(

Yeah, it's not like you guys have cheaper prices than Europe and most of Asia on every bundle and most reselling sites.

I don't check prices on other countries and I don't use reselling sites. Move your frustration to someone else.

US has cheaper prices than EU largely because EU has VAT on games and in the US they are big on not paying taxes

Yeah, I think I read something similar before. Doesn't change my stance on American entitlement (or any other country's for that matter).

Entitlement? Cause I'd like to see a $5 bonus if I spend $20? Discrimination because I made a comment about wanting to get a bonus for spending 20 bucks.. really sad.

I'm sorry but american people are stupid and get voluntarily eaten by corporations, they don't even have consumer right so why would they bother making offers?

In Sweden we have 50 kr (5€) free for any purchase that's not a gift card, so be sure to check that out, Swedish people!

Konstigt nog står det att jag inte är berättigad på den svenska länken du skrev :)
Men EU länken funkade ju så köpte nya Life is strange deluxe.

Looks like they increased the amount of times it can be used to 13000. From 3200 to 7000, then to 8000, then to 13000. Good job PayPal.

For Steam users in The Netherlands, these all worked for me:
https://www.paypal.com/en/webapps/mpp/offers?view=details&offerId=QB4YNANJE2RXW
https://www.paypal.com/en/webapps/mpp/offers?view=details&offerId=6JQPNKCVTNPEN
https://www.paypal.com/en/webapps/mpp/offers?view=details&offerId=QVV3LT7W9TCRJ

I just added all the offers to my PayPal account, then added €20 store credit to my Steam account every time and one of the offers got used.

You can see the offers that are still available in your wallet, under "Saved offers" here.
(For me only the not working offers with prices in GBP and JPY are left there.)

so the coupon only works if i order directly from steam right?
so my steam client only shows me the 25 € option.
not that it matters too much but is there any way to add 20 € to my account?

Follow the instructions in this comment: https://www.steamgifts.com/go/comment/jRM7IlT
Or, if you use the Enhanced Steam extension, it does it for you, as shown in the image below:

I wonder what happens if i try to refund a game when i payed with this coupon

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

If you seek a full refund for a purchase made using the Offer, the full refund amount will be provided subject to the seller's refund policy minus the Offer value. If a partial refund is provided, you will receive the partial refund amount minus the Offer value.

Basically, you lose the offer.

For full refund :
You buy for 20$ worth of content, you'll spend 15$ on PayPal.
You ask for a refund for all those games : "the full refund amount will be provided minus the Offer value", aka 20-5=15$. You get your money back, you don't get 5$ bonus on your PayPal account.

For partial refund :
You buy for 20$ worth of content, you'll spend 15$ on PayPal.
You ask for a refund of a 12$ game : "you will receive the partial refund amount minus the Offer value", aka 12-5=7$. You spent 15-7=8$ on PayPal, for 20-12=8$ worth of content. You then bought your games at the normal price, without a 5$ bonus.

I wanted to buy Steam Link, but someone told me that the device is laggy, you need a really strong internet connection (more than 300Mb)... Can anyone confirm this? Thank you.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Nah, it works fine for me over my wireless and I get 50-60Mb

I have my PC connected to one of those wall power networking things, which feeds into my router by cable in a different room, then I have the SteamLink in the same room as the router connected by WiFi and I think I have had no more than 3 dropouts in the whole time I have had it (most recently played through Portal 2 with it with no glitches whatsoever)
