Since their choices are indirectly affecting the course of the entire EU - it is my business. I understand both this, and the things happening in your own country are none of your business, and i respect your decision.

the choices are not while or black only.. as always there's something in between!
i'm not here to prove that one of us is wrong or neither right.
in fact i would be delighted to take such an important topic and discuss further face to face.
unfortunately we can't, also i believe that before we come into conclusions we have both to be living here in (sweden for example),
seeing things with our own eyes and hear the thoughts of people we get to interact with before making our own judgment based on what we get to see in a YouTube video or a newspaper...
media nowadays is not to be considered a trusted source of information, as you know it's all biased based on the agenda and motives of those pulling the strings behind it..
hope this give you an idea of what logic i do follow before jumping into judgments and accusations. :)

I'm only aware of one. (unless you count successor states)
Liechtenstein added a golden crown in the upper left corner of their flag after finding out they had the same flag as Haiti at the Summer Olympics 1936.
Maybe they were afraid of accidental international punishment for being the only state founded after a successful slave uprising :D

Never knew there's one. As for successor states, i assume most countries in the world have changed the flag as a proof of their independence or union or another reason one because there so many empire before these countries found.

Whenever I feel like trolling, I look at the situation in Europe for inspiration. It often feels like these out of touch people who are so deluded into believing that there is good in everything, that they might be masterful trolls in it for the money. It works so well.

The Swedish flag is a constant reminder of our dark and oppressive past. Refugees and migrants are forced to live under its Christian Cross; a symbol of the Crusades and the slaughter of millions of innocent Islamic lives in Sweden's past that makes them feel unwelcome and unsafe. Sweden should be a safe space for everyone.
The rise of Extremist Far‐Right movements, emboldened by the flag of Christianity and 'whiteness', only further necessitates this change.
As our outdated national symbol gradually becomes the banner of Xenophobic and racist extremist groups, we must think into the future. A future of peace, understanding and tolerance.
Our proposition is, to show our unity with the religion of peace and to make our home a home and a safe environment for all, that we replace our symbol of an oppressive past with the Holy symbol of Islam. No longer would far‐right extremists feel that their country caters to their extreme and genocidal ideologies.
The cross is only representative of Christians while the moon not only represents our solidarity with Islam but is also a part of nature. The moon and stars represent a universal culture of beauty and resistance to fascism and intolerance.
It is time for Sweden to become an international country, a beacon of tolerance and understanding.
