What's up with Vampire Survivors?

Found it by accident since it was trending amongst my friends.

It's a ridiculously (almost insulting) simple and addictive idea, let to perfection by hordes and hordes of enemies.

It looks like a riff on Crimsonland and half the other games 10tons has been making for almost 20 years now.

Is like injecting liquid meth-cockayne into your eyeballs.

SplatterCat and NorthernLion both shone a spotlight on it early after the game's release and definitely propelled it headstrong into the indie game scene. I assume a ton of people enjoy the simple yet satisfying gameplay loop (myself included). Its price point, equivalent to a coffee, definitely helps attract people to at least try out the game.

This is like crimsonland. Although it has some new twists. :O

It's good. I bought it yesterday, and logged six and a half hours. If you're just starting out, you should know it's to your advantage to use the whip from below the mobs, just like in Castlevania.
