[Group Puzzle] - The Stick of Truth (Closed)

Man, I came to this late... is there anything easy left to solve?

Wow, my brain almost exploded on S17. I think I'm quitting now :/

Lol, that one guy in the toon grid was Cream? I kept on putting creamed corn.

Some numbers in case some else gets inspired by them: 40 People, 60 Items with chars on them in a 10x10 grid. 5 of the people are marked by the hint. If we remove them we are left with 60 items and 5 People. Close to a nice 64 which would be a 8x8 grid, but sadly not.

Highlighting items using the colors proposed above, I end up with 27 highlighted items (3x9?). together with the 5 People it gives a 32(4x8?). I was looking for combinations that might give us a nice square, but so far no luck...

Let's bump this thread, so people can see and produce more theories. There are still GAs and a stick to find! :)

Toon grid hints:

G3: Villian from an old cartoon
T1: From a cartoon within a cartoon
Y5: Minor character from a newer incarnation of a very long running cartoon series
W8: From an '80s movie

Alright. I give up. This is everything I have on Stage 17:

I started with Haborym562's work and removed everything but the squad and their weapons and I ended up with this. note: the toilet paper is white, not grey; and the gun is yellow, not gold.
I then tried making the toon grid codes from top to bottom, left to right:

with only 6 valid codes:
R4 J1 9M J6 2F 7Y

Then the new hints were added and now we have to "Build a new grid using only your squad and items" so again when the weapons are read top to bottom, left to right:

I can't get the spacing to work out but you should get the idea. The new grid produces these new toon grid codes:

so far nothing comes close to the mythical "XXX#XX#X".

Here's a thorough explanation of the stage 17 solution (so far):

Squad #1 - Episodes (5 members)

The numbers in the question are season and episode numbers. They refer to five episodes that all contain colors in the title of the episode. On the grid there is a character wearing a unique outfit only seen in that episode, or in the case of Chef, his name is in the title of the episode. These are your five members of your squad. You pair each of them up with an item on the grid corresponding to the color in their episode title. Then, ignoring everything else on the grid, you take each character and his items and reposition them such that the characters are all on one grid cell (the fight as one hint), keeping the items relative to their owner. This will create 8 pairs of side-by-side items with a letter and number. These are toon grid codes. Take the initial from the name of each toon to form the final 8-digit answer.

For squads 2 through 4, you are using the same grid and same logic, you just need to identify the new squad members and their colors.

Squad #2 - The Spies (6 members)

The 6 spies in the Stage 16 puzzle where you are identifying voices. If you amplify the quiet part of the clip you'll hear Ike hinting to look at the spies outfits. Each one is wearing their item color.

Squad #3 - Vehicles (7 members)

The Stage 14A trivia questions all mention a colored vehicle as well as a character (or you find a character unique to that episode)

Squad #4 - ???

I just solved the last question in the toon grid (W8)!

Didn't get any answers oh well, im bad at puzzles and I will always be. It was fun though

Has anyone solved the triangle puzzle?
It's quite hard...

EDIT: Okay the solution I linked to actually was invalid, I was just too excited that the missing 4 pieces fit to what I came up with yesterday.. but they didn't. I thought it was another valid solution, but nope - seems there's only one valid solution after all :)

1 question - where should we put solutions for triangle (last, probably) puzzle?

Anyone solve the dolls yet? Tried everything I can think of, but I think I'm missing something - after Jexel 'fixed the typo', everything I had still stayed the same, even after revisiting the whole quiz :(

You know what? Screw what I said earlier. Temple of Steamgifts V2 coming July or August this year.

Hopefully you'll implement some more ITH improvements by then, otherwise I will keep bugging you :P

Okay, of the 44 GAs there are 2 left i have no link for... 41 and 42... one probably involves the dolls, the other one, no idea... 42 already has 8 solvers and 12 comments, so there should be something about this out there... hmmm...

What are these "dolls"? Where or what are puzzles I mean
