...can you specify what is not safe for work element?
You mean beyond a sex toy oozing an unidentified substance all over the countertop? If you really need a yardstick by which to measure things, try putting it in perspective. "I am in a job interview, and the Boss is assessing my character. Do I pass him a copy of this post in order to demonstrate that I am the right person for the job?" If the answer is "No," then maybe you should consider it "not safe for work."
Yes, you can expect anyone who has access to the Internet to see this, and yes, it is most likely a permanent record, and yes, prospective employers check these kinds of things to see "what you're like."

GitHub (or similar version control). Fun fact: in our fragile times it's renamed to "main", in relation to BLM, this year. See https://github.com/github/renaming or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Master/slave_(technology)#Terminology_concerns

technically it only affects new projects and there's not really anything stopping a programmer from renaming it back to master if for instance they don't like being told what to do / pressured to change workflows by political agenda (which I'm going to assume that of the people who rename/leave it alone, the overwhelming majority of them will be doing so out of laziness or simply to be contrary than any genuine desire to be racist... at least that has been my experience with most programmers. we're a contentious but very lazy lot lol).

While I never named for example threads "slave", simply because as a non-native speaker of English I always found that non-descriptive, practically stupid (I refer them secondary, background, or worker), I do continue using master branch in a repo because I always thought it shortened "master copy".

yeah, it definitely would be considering it is supposed to be master as in "master craft" or "master copy" like you say... i thought the whole renaming argument was a bit like saying we should call (computer) "mice" something else because it might offend PETA...
BUT... while i don't personally have any real preference b/w "master" and "main", I am likely to use whichever is setup for me by default and honestly typing 2 less characters isn't something that hurts my feelings (as long as it is still descriptive and nobody tries to tell me how to do my job lol) :-P

That's a programming joke, it's talking about pushing changes to the master (default) branch of a repository (like in github). Usually you'd have another branch for testing, and pushing changes directly to the master branch could break things (so it's a mischievous thing that the fox is doing!)
Sorry, I thought this might be familiar to you since you programmed an app, I shouldn't have assumed.

Thank you! Your app is a neat idea, I'll probably use it in the future!
