Song of Saya, ooh baby. One of my first two visual novels that I picked up out of curiosity.
I wonder how the hell they censored their way around arbitrary gorn aspects, but I'm also just kinda glad that others get to experience how to put the love back in lovecraft. :3c

DRW starts NOW!!!!!!!!! (DRW = December Retro Wave - Since 2-3 years comes many retros to Steam, Rebellion starts with these 3)
Gunlok (2000) | December 03 2019
World War Zero (2002) | December 03 2019
Free Running (2007) | December 03 2019
Free Running don't count as "retro" in the group, because it came out after 2006, but still an awesome game, and deserved support!

Was amazing on PSP and PS2, cool to play it after many years now on PC, because I couldn't play it in 2009/10 on PC. xD
thanks for your support. :)
More retros in the group. :D

Dude, Free Running is so sick. I remember 100% it on ps2. Shame it was a little too easy and too short, but an absolute blast while it lasted.

Iron Storm again? I already bought that on Steam. And got the PS2 version.
Also played some Free Running on PSP, wasn't a fan.

Why Iron Storm? :D
PSP got mostly lite versions of PS2 games :(
But still good handheld. :)

Iron Storm was basically the same game, just some changes were made to the PS2 version and then carried over to the other PC release.
I enjoyed my PSP exclusives. Wish some more were on PSN for my PSTV though.

of which game? World War Zero?
I hope more comes to Steam xD
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah. World War Zero. First was Iron Storm in 2002, followed by World War Zero: Ironstorm (PS2) which updated some graphics, fixed some bugs and added new weapons, had great multiplayer as well supporting the 4 player multitap. World War Zero on PC is a port of the PS2 port. It removed quick saves, multiplayer, most cutscenes and has simplified levels. Less buggy though.
There is also a sequel on Steam, Bet On Soldier.

I really liked the PS2 version, that is the one I'd recommend to people in the first place, best of both versions.
The gas grenades are fun, they mess with the player view.

Incl. 10 games. And totally worth of it...the games don't get worse or lose quality like food....It's a good collection to play all versions of the first games + some extra. Cheaper than original games / modules btw. ;)
Some people has a problem with a price and older games. Then buy it during the sale, or don't buy... (btw: Contra was 6-7€ on Sale, that's NOTHING!)
That's not a good way of thinking by humanity...

I like it, when exclusives gets a PC port!
2 Gameboy Advance exclusives now on Steam wuhuuu :)

Battle Academy shares a bit of AW´s flair, i found it to be quite enjoyable and still aim to complete it sometime!
It just replaces all eastern cutesy with Battle Picture Weekly themed content :D

Check out Wargroove and Tiny Metal
Those 2 games were inspired by advanced wars

Neat, though its too bad they weren't able to re-render the sprites at a higher resolution (since they're clearly based on 3D models), but I guess the source assets are probably long lost atp. That aside they should have added something to make it more interesting then a typical rom running on an emulator (achievements, cards, etc.).

I don't know if you want to add games already released like https://store.steampowered.com/app/768480/Chamber_of_the_SciMutant_Priestess/ (aka Kult, Steam release date Feb 2018). If you click on ERE Informatique in that store page, you'll see some other classics from them, like The Great Escape and I think Eden Blues (I must have the original 5.25" disk somewhere). Along with a lot of oldies from other developers.
I really dislike how Steam manages release dates, as if it's a crime to post the original year. It's also often very misleading.

Devs decide the release date i think, like https://store.steampowered.com/app/1148330/Legend_of_the_Sword/ was released in 1988.

This thread is for all new retros, these added in the future on Steam. (feed) It's a reboot thead, because the last one incl. my retro group mention (sometimes with curator) and less Giveaways. (It was closed, so I hope this is now okay as source for original retros from 19xx to 2006) Remaster with the same game content are allowed, but no remakes. (You can mention it, but it don't count as "retro" in group or "counter" :D)
Enjoy
