What have you bought on the winter sale?

Portal 2 and Garry's mod,as a gift.

So far, nothing, and it will probably stay that way. My general rule for Steam sales has been that, unless there's a game I'm really dying to have (and with a pretty large backlog of games to play, there wasn't this year), something needs to hit 75% off for me to consider it. Of the ~30 games on my wishlist, only one reached 75%, and that one was given away for free in limited numbers before and has so-so reviews, so I'm leaning towards skipping it for now. With the lack of flash sales, I just really haven't been paying much attention to this sale after checking the prices on the first day.

I bought Hurtworld (4 keys) and Final Fantasy (5.5 keys) both XIII and XIII-2 . And then this picture below worth 32 keys (excluding Payday 2 and Rocket League). Bought all games the cheapest way possible. Direct Link to the imgur

I bought Mass Effect Collection for a giveaway here and FO3 as a gift.

Nothing yet for myself, haven't even taken much of a look at it.

Received The Escapists + all DLC, D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die, Life is Strange (complete season), Ryse: Son of Rome and Styx: Master of Shadows in a secret Santa. Gave a similar amount to my recipient but can't say what as it's a secret!

Gave/received a game in another one but I'm not allowed to even say what I got in that one yet.

Will likely look at the sale properly before it's over, but I don't feel a pressing need to and I'm delighted with what my Santas brought me.

Nothing for me... My backlog became huge recently.
But I bought a gift to present it to the friend. Spent $8.

I have over 30 games to play, so I bought a gift for a friend (Legend Of Grimrock bundle) and two copies of System Shock 2 for other two friends who gifted two games to me.
I'm waiting for the next sales, but I'm not sure because I have some games from Kickstarter (Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Torment: Tides Of Numenera, Underworld Ascendant and Star Citizen - Multiplayer's Alpha and Singleplayer's Squadron 42) for this 2016.

Haven't bought anything yet, but probably going to buy before the sale ends (already have them in basket):
