Just added a new rule at the request of active group members; Members must be active on Steamgifts (latest giveaway should be less then a year old). I think one giveaway a year is quite fair, but if anyone has thoughts / concerns about this change would be happy to hear any feedback.

You can check your real CV ratio at any time by placing your mouse cursor over top the "Gifts sent" or "Gifts won" value in your Steamgifts profile (a popup window showing the real CV amount will appear).

I just wanted to create giveaways for the group and noticed that i got kicked?
Cuz i cant imagine i would leave by myself... maybe by mistake but pretty doubtful.
Tbh i dont get it cuz i made quite a lot of giveaways for the group (not sure anymore but i guess my group ratio was easily 500$+) and i was active all the time since i joined on SG and in this group.

Yea looks like you were kicked about a week ago for dropping too far below the 2:1 real CV ratio minimum (you've currently sent: $2510.44, and won: $1553.74). Sorry had to kick you, but gotta make sure the rules are followed to keep things fair for everyone. If you get back to a 2:1 real CV ratio would be glad to invite you back in the group.

Okay i see. Well i dont think that i will get back there as i joined some groups with very low entries (majority wont get 5 entries) and i dont get real CV for those games but apparently the real CV counts for my wins so its getting worse constantly.
So yeah i dont think i will manage to get back to 2:1 unless i will leave them. It just felt a bit rude getting kicked without a word after doing a lot of ga's for the group, but yeah i understand rules are rules.

Go to your profile and hover your mouse over the dollar amount. $9.4k to $5.2k. That means you'd need to give away $1k worth of CV to get to 2:1.

I did a check recently of all SG Pillars members to see who was no longer eligible to be in the group, and unfortunately you'd fallen quite far behind the 2:1 real cv minimum. Of course, you can re-join if your ratio reaches the minimum again. Also, like others have said, you can determine your ratio at any time by going to your Steamgifts profile and placing the cursor over the won/sent values to get a popup showing the real CV values (atm you've sent $9395.99 and won $5194.28, or a ratio of about 1.81:1 ).

Games go from full price, to 15% or 0% when they go on sale or are given away etc. Although in your case you said you were also winning a lot, so that obviously affects your ratio too.

I dont think that its true. I think if you give away a game which has full value you wont lose it unless it was bundled earlier and just not updated yet

Plenty of other examples. I just happened to notice this one since I won it recently. CV can be taken away at any time. The only time it won't be, is if it's reduced to zero after you give it away.

First someone reduced some of the GAs to 15%. They set this date to 2022. Then someone else came along after that and decided to reduce every GA to zero.

i guess just every giveaway after 2021 and not also from years before. At least thats what i thought usually happens.
For me one of the rpg maker software i gave away were reduced value and after few month they decided to make it retroactively 0 CV cuz of "abuse" i guess so i lost a bit but otherwise i dont see me losing CV over years for my "normal" games.

AFAIK, CV is coupled to the current base price. If the base price of a game increases, there should be a CV increase in this case. I haven't verified it, so not 100% sure.
