I'm feeling for another GA to do, also need more of da metal.

My playlist so far.

I prefer power metal songs or any metal song with a fast rhythm; songs to make me energetic, hyper, excited, etc.

Most of the bands I would recommend have already been listed, so I won't repeat them. But there are a few I think are worth checking out, even if they're a bit more niche in their subject matter and style. The Color Morale, Beartooth, The World Alive, and The Amity Affliction.

Maybe these:

  • ReVamp (symphonic metal)
  • Alter Bridge (alternative metal)
  • Demons & Wizards (power metal)
  • Primal Fear (power metal)
  • Running Wild (heavy metal)

Oh good, it's not a Spotify playlist (since it is unavailable in my area).

Anyway, too lazy to check what others have suggested so far to avoid repeats so I'll just list a few of my favorites

Boris - Pink
Elecrtic Wizard - Funeralopolis
Mass of the Fermenting Dregs - She is inside, he is outside (just barely on metal side, but give it a go)
and my favorite discovery of 2016

Senyawa - Gaib

I have no idea what music you already listen to, can't see vids cause of internet cap. But I have some very unknown and awesome suggestions from my mainland:

More Than a Thousand » See "Black Hearts", "No bad blood" and "Fight your demons" for a sample.
Godog » NO VOCALS, instrumental with violin, epic! See "Disturbia" or "A vaca de fogo" for a sample.

If you like any of them, MT1000's first albums only have some hear-able songs (Low quality records and general musical composition, but some are still cool, I recommend if you really liked them, to get all songs and listen each to find those you like), and Godog only has one album with 7 songs, which is very sad considering their quality...
Take care!

Bloodbound is pretty good Swedish power metal.
Alestorm is drunken scottish pirate metal.
Judas Priest is a classic. Halls of Valhalla is a masterpiece.

My top bands would be Gojira, Opeth and Lamb of God.
Also fond of Black Label Society, Ghost and Skindred.
And Anything with Max Cavalera involved tends to be at least decent

Update, here is a list of new bands I added to my playlist(I am still adding more songs during my spring break):

DragonForce
Gloryhammer
Stratovarius
Unleash the Archers
Manowar

**I forgot to mention I prefer power metal the most, but I do like any metal song with a really fast rhythm; something to make my blood pump.

I'm surprised there's no Sonata Arctica on there!

They can do everything from super speed stuff like Wolf & Raven, or even ballads like this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbQZkqzh9p8

My absolute favourite from them has to be Black Sheep though.
