Chrono.gg allows you to dispose of a steam key in a black hole as today's deal

It seems you only bothered to read the first sentence of what I said, and you, as well as others here, are making the assumption that everyone is supposed to be familiar with what the event is and how it works. Give me a break, they didn't make it obvious... the notice is half way down the page, and it's an event held on April Fool's Day. I would say that calling others a dick when they don't realize something, and unknowingly make a mistake, is an even bigger dick move. Thanks for checking out my profile though, and making sure to judge me based on my library count. (:

The real issue here is that you're yet another person that is just making assumptions, most likely based on a single sentence, as well as making judgments based upon a number. Immediately jumping to the conclusion that I deliberately put in an invalid key, being fully aware that it'll be put into a possible event for next year. Perhaps Chrono shouldn't hold a semi-serious event, on a joke holiday, and place the information half way down the page, where most people are not even going to scroll to, especially not before they try to get a key from the hole.

I didn't think I'd have to explain further, but now it seems I must. I'm fairly new to Chrono, so I was completely unaware of there being a previous "Black Hole" event. Since it's an event held on April Fool's Day, I initially thought it was a joke, and I wanted to see what would happen, hence why I put in the 1's. I didn't actually think I'd get anything. If I was aware of that key being put into a pool for a potential event for the following year, I wouldn't have entered something invalid. I'm clearly not the only person that didn't realize how the event worked.

I admit that I unknowingly made a mistake, and perhaps I didn't convey my point very well in my reply to Sooth, so I'll try to elaborate. With my question, I was attempting to get across that someone, that is unaware of the 'rules', isn't automatically a dick because they want to participate but don't have a proper key to put in. On top of that, I was trying to say that people shouldn't complain if they happen to get one of those invalid keys.

Also, accusing me of being a "massive hoarder"... that coming from someone with 898 games, where the majority have seemingly just been idled in, and that includes most of your wins. How ironic, mate.
