"Worth buying" = "I want Skyrim, Bioshock, FarCry, Fallout games for $1"

I think its largely an issue of perception, not just with Humble but all of the bundles. Naturally, as more bundles come out, its more likely to have repeats, which makes it less attractive to frequent bundle shoppers. If you view recent bundles from the point of view of not owning any of the games, the bundles are great, but most of us already own a number of games in any bundle.

Also, I think the idea of the bundles appealed to our naturally cheap nature, but its also caused us to expect all indie games will eventually end up in a bundle. As such, we're not viewing the bundles as having good games unless it contains the indie games we want, but don't yet have. Personally, I don't think it would be a good idea to put an indie game in a bundle at this point unless your sales have completely bottomed out or unless you have another game coming out and want the attention.

+1
We've gone from being gamers to being game collectors. Before we had hundreds of games in our backlog each bundle meant something even if the games weren't on our wish list. Now there's a new bundle every day (even discounting the current daily bundle deals), and we're more picky.

Frankly, if the first Humble bundles were offered now I wouldn't have bought them. And more to the point, I haven't even tried the vast majority of these games.

picky and cheap I would say. So far I doubt I actually tried most of bundle games.Just farm cards but with playfire rewards giving try to some games. Games not played 340 (49%) . Ain't nobody got time for that.

Humble bundle is actually gaining steam, there use to be months between bundles, and i haven't even seen a "week off" for awhile

Maybe they have more bundles but where people would buy every single bundle coming out.. now people pass on most of them. I wouldn't call that gaining steam..

If there are other great bundles featuring popular 'most wanted' games that has passed or bundles that already have games that you have, of course it won't appeal to you and seem to be loosing it's grip. Still, the bundles are relatively great and offer much better savings while still contributing to charity (Or ratio of your choosing.).

I think they are shifting their business model on the store rather than bundles. Bundles are still there to create buzz and attract customers, but they ceased to be their website's main purpose.

I'm buying less bundles overall, because I already have a bunch of games from past purchases and it's getting harder to find bundles with (a) a lot of games I don't own and (b) that I want to own. So I don't necessarily think it's a Humble issue. I think it's a result of us buying lots of games and game bundles over time -- the larger library makes it harder to find new bundles we want.

they keep putting games in the bundles from previous bundles, so it makes it less a value for us following the bundle pages.

The daily 'bundles' really show that it's quantity over quality. All those "3 tier, 3 games" bundles or even just artwork and packs of the same game show that they try too hard. I didn't mind waiting 6 weeks for a new game bundle, because those bundles were worth the wait most of the time. It doesn't have to be AAA titles, but a nice selection of games for both the minimum and the BTA is (or better was) what I expected. For this 14 day sale I just hope for a few re-bundles that I missed and that these 'minimal' bundles are a one off.

Yes, so far the daily bundles don't have anything which interests me. I do buy the occasional weekly bundle though. That said, Groupees probably gets most of my bundle money.

I agree, Groupees keeps having a very good mix from interesting games (without AAA titles). I've been noticing that recently I bought more groupees bundles then humble bundles...

No. No offense but if you want AAA games for 3-5$ not is the problem of Humble Bundle. Humble Bundle can't give away all and the problem is this we use this bundles and become whimsical.
Thanks to HB i can buy THQ bundle this week.

It can't demand something as humble.

It's good as sale, as bundle... not at all, since it doesn't even is a real bundle. Same as the Hammerwatch one, it's just deceptive...
I don't care that much when the bundles are good or bad, always will be someone who find it good anyway. But at least they should make a true bundle...

I dunno why people are expecting huge AAA games from what started out as a Humble INDIE Bundle. They might throw a couple in for the occasional giveaway, but that's never been what it's about. I've not been disappointed yet with ANY of the main (Humble Indie) bundles that have come out. They were always excellent games. Here's hoping for Don't Starve, Rogue Legacy, Gunpoint and Shadowrun Returns! :D

I follow Humble Bundle, Indie Gala, and Bundle Stars. Out of the three, I've seen the best stuff on Humble Bundle without question. That being said, humble bundle's bundles are usually what the name implies, HUMBLE. They aren't usually huge or breath taking. The chance to get games like Batman or Worms as cheap as I did is rare, and we also need to except these while being humble. Instead people are getting huge expectations and seem upset when smaller games get a bump. Personally, I only need to want one of the games from a bundle to get it simply because that one game's steam sale price is usually as low as the bundle price, so I am only gaining free games by getting the bundle. Right now I have my eye on Dragon Commander on their weekly bundle, and my eye on the Simulator bundle on bundlestars.
