Even Brawl for the Wii is still around $35 USED at Gamestop in my area.

Do you have any video game rental stores in the area? There is a place here where I live called Family Video, they still rent games, but they will also sell any of their games used if you choose to buy them. Since they are usually heavily played, as long as they have extra copies, they usually knock a good chunk off the bill if you choose to buy it. A buddy of mine picked up a couple Wii U games there pretty cheap (He picked up Zombie U for like $5 and Hyrule Warriors for $15). Might be worth checking out if you do have any stores in your area that rent Wii U titles.
