Well I think that if I would be a train pilot during apocalypse I would make party in it... which survivor wouldn't get on that train to forget about the end of the world

I'd try to gather a group of survivors and get away from population centers as fast and far as possible to hopefully survive and build a spacecraft to settle the Moon and Mars.

If I were a train pilot during an apocalypse, I would be screwed when I realize that my skill as pilot doesn't translate well for the positions of conductor and engineer

I would be out of a job since there would be no more train left to pilot.
So I'd go fishing, and I'd use the fishes as blunt weapons to fight off the zombies (since obviously the apocalypse would be a zombie apocalypse)
