The thing I think is funny is that people leaving comments on this thread keep calling it a game. It's not a game, it's a utility that already exists on modern Operating Systems.

their rage post is a joke... selling a product is all about "communicating the idea across to the public", not about the actual product itself and all that they have shown is they clearly don't know how a business works and probably shouldn't even have been on the green-light process...
they suggest making users pay a subscription fee for green-light when the idea behind it is to allow users to decide on what they want. obviously free stuff will get you more votes, when does it not? and obviously videos convey a better message then a still image... after all a picture says 1000 words but a video says 30000 words a second...

but it's not a rage post. it's about his thoughts on his experience with the Greenlight system. And maybe you have a point that he doesn't know how a business works, but to scrutinize that aspect of him is unfair, given that this is his first attempt at marketing a product.
as for the subscription fee, I don't particularly agree with it either, but it's a suggestion, and at least he's trying to offer a solution to the current system. The bad ideas have to come out before the good ideas can develop.

with the "rage post" i was quoting what the OP originally posted when i checked as that is what they called it i felt it was easiest to identify it that way
edit on first point: i will scrutinize someone who scrutinizes others... they scrutinized a system they had no understanding of so ofcourse i will point out their stupidity... two wrongs don't make a right but i can guarantee one wrong doesn't. plus if you consider the fact its their job to know good business practices and marketing i think its only fair that when someone who has had no experience in the area but has a better understanding and knowledge of marketing that is pretty sad
the second point, i understand that ideas are required to create a better system, however if its a fundamental change such as removing the whole original point of the system (for a way for users to decide whether they would buy it or not without having to have any pre-requisits)... its essentially like saying "lets make a movie which is just plain text on a screen without any music or effect" in other words "lets make a book"... plus, the whole point is destroyed by the fact if they had just made a trailer featuring their program/game then there would be no need to pay money for this "service".

If you agree, report the thing like the OP did, and I did, and hopefully others have as well. Mosaico does not need to be on Steam.

Reading is rather important.
The, utterly useless, programm Mosaico - Tiling Window Manager has just been greenlit with use of following methode "Drop a comment and get a free steam key". That is the most stupid and lame way of getting on steam. On top of that the program is just useless as it's already possible in windows with the Win + arrows.
It gets even beter. The company behind this shovelware made a blog post with as title, "Why Steam Greenlight is a remarkably good failure". It's basically a rage post because they couldn't get Greenlit, untill they started using the Drop a comment and get a free steam key-methode
This program should be un-greenlit. It won't be long untill other programs/games will copy this methode. And thus will get even more crap on steam.
Greenlight failed, again.
