  • i7 950 @3,7GHz cooled by liquid metal (sounds fancy, but it's not better than any good air cooler)
  • GTX 580
  • 4x2GB DDR3 RAM @1066MHz (originally 6x2GB, but than it's not running in triple channel. also, 12GB RAM is pointless for me)
  • 60GB SSD as OS partition
  • 6 year old 300GB HDD with "issues"
  • unplugged (therefore pointless) fan controller
    all that slammed on a rampage III extreme mobo inside a thermaltake big tower.

oh, and a cheap-o 750W PSU, which will drag my parts down into the grave sooner or later.

got that noisy beast for about 350$ from an enthusiast, who thinks that those parts are garbage.
he's the kind of gamer, who buys and plays games for the graphics only...
