I just came back from the LCBO. The cashier kept looking at me as if she wanted to ask to see my ID (anyone that looks less than 25 they are supposed to ask for ID), but she didn't. I laughed and said "You were thinking of asking to see my ID, right?" She confirmed that was the case, and I thanked her. I then showed her my ID that shows that I am going to be 43 on June 22nd. Needless to say she was quite shocked!
That was a nice early birthday present for me!:)

Congrats, it must be nice to be socially non-awkward enough to actually dare to ask unrelated questions from strangers. I'd probably just have assumed she was staring because there was a huge booger hanging out of my nose, or running mascara.
