Big Bang Theory to end with season 12.

I love this show, but almost everyone I know shits on it or stopped watching. Same with Walking Dead. People suck.

I enjoyed the first few season (watched in TV that lacked order and stuff) and really enjoyed it as it was "how nerds do stuff in weird situations/make weird situations of simple ones" - like when the bird got into the sterile-room, they overcomplicated everything, then Penny just told them to leave it there and erase trace of them being there to let the bird in. Or the Christmas episode with the tabletop adventure! But after a while they started doing story arcs, while the characters were... simple, like Leonard being nerdy, short, glasses, allergies, mommy issues, kinda tolerating Sheldon and in love with Penny for most of the time - and that was basically him. SImilarly each character could be characterized by just a few traits, and most of the episodes tried to make fun out of these. There is a limited amount of time Sheldon's aspergers is funny, Raj's metrosexuality and feminime behaviour, or Penny more often than not being a mess and trying to get free stuff, so I stopped watching as it simply faded out of my range of interests.
It's more than likely that people still liked it after the show got to season 12, and I hope it will get a proper ending that will be better received than the HIMYM one. (goddamit, would have loved a season of nerdy adventures of Ted and his wife, not such an abrupt ending of everything)

Finally? I remember enjoying wathcing it for a short period of time. After that I just hated everything about it. Every time I saw it was on tv I skipped the channel instantly.

Ugh FINALLY. I HATE this show so much!!! It really bothred me that there was LITERALLY nothing else to watch all this time!

On a more serious note: I enjoyed watching all of the seasons and will also watch the last one. In the beginning I guess I liked the jokes + the atmosphere and towards the newer seasons I kept watching because of the characters and the development of their lifes. I nearly always root for the characters in any show and want them to be in a good situation as soon as possible, I guess I'm soft ¯\(ツ)/¯
But I totally understand that the laugh tracks are annoying and killed it for many people (Luckily I am able to kinda space them out). I guess I also understand that people felt offended by the jokes (Is there anything people aren't offended by nowadays?).
You don't have to like the show but why bother bitching around just to jump on the hate train? Watch a show you enjoy instead of wasting your time hating one you don't like.

I watched five seasons of this show, then it became boring.

I never get these "I don't like it, it should be stopped" statements, even more nowadays with media overstimulation. There are hundreds of TV channels, streaming, Games, books, but people read/watch/play/hear things they don't like and grumble all over it. Doesn't make any sense.

Stopped watching at around season 8. It became kinda shit much earlier.
But! There is one thing that I will be forever grateful to this show - it started my interest to Star Trek with the references and stuff.

I liked it at first seasons, but fewer and fewer nerd theme episodes, and more "greys anatomy" drama made it barely tolerable.
I hate Chuck Lorre, i think it has an agenda for each shows message he produces.

The show became nonsense for me when i started to analyze the characters and realized that almost all are fucking assholes and i dont mean Sheldon... :(
