Wasn't IndieGala itself the publisher of this game until recently ?

I couldn't find it in any of the cached versions on WebArchive so I might be wrong, but I could have sworn one of the reasons I skipped this on sale is that it was published by IG so I figured it'd end up in one of their bundles

I was the Nr. 2 writer in the Steam Discussion Thread to it.
Normaly there Support do what they can sometimes that is not enough to make it a happy end :-D so i am not worried about loosing more then my time to write with the IG Support.
But yes it is frustrating that the revoke action come around with IG (not the cheapest store/site) and with a game that don't looked as a cheap garbage/shoverware/archivement spammer/asset flip Game.
I hope the issue is solved fast and in a good way for the customers :o) When not we switch to the angry potatoes mode^^

so drop a letter to IndieGala support with your order number
Just a reminder to everyone that contacting ScamGala support can potentially lead to your account being closed and deleted.
Always back your keys up off-site before contacting their "support" team. (Rather safe than sorry, after all.)
Also, for anyone who needs a refresher on what the game was:

They presumably service tens of thousands of consumers and, before I stopped looking, I "only" got up to something like three dozen reports (other than my own) of such occurrences. As I've stated before, it doesn't seem common, but it does nevertheless seem to be a reliable risk. Obviously mileage may vary, and most people will presumably be fine, but- as I stated- "rather safe than sorry" is a clearly preferable approach to take on such things, no matter how low the odds are.
Also, congrats on them trying to help, their support (when they weren't responding with inexplicable account closures) was never considered as being at all favorable, other than their willingness to recompense on bugged Happy Hours (of course, on the other side of that coin, such issues have been fairly common).
Of course, I did stop using them after they closed my account, so things certainly could have improved since then.
On the other hand, this is a company known for hugging the bottom of the barrel on all things it engages in, so that does seem rather unlikely.

Sometimes I really think independent Russian games on Steam are cursed. Westboro was one of the handful which is a genuinely good (but flawed) game with decent gameplay and quite a lot of effort put into it, and not some cheap-ass propaganda or asset flip. Yet apparently it still wanted to join putilin, ghost_RUS, Zonitron, or CSM by having its own shitstorm, because keys for it bought on IndieGala have been revoked by the publisher. There is even a thread now on it:

If you are affected, the publisher's facebook and VK pages are rather dead, so drop a letter to IndieGala support with your order number (and preferably revokation screen) so they can know who are affected, assuming they can sort it out.
Hopefully they can. This is one of those rare games that should not be known for a controversy. (It is not the best thing in the world, but still an enjoyable tactical game with actual effort and no large local publisher backing.)
