I think the big difference is that a bundle game giveaway is like "here's my leftovers and/or junk I would never play" where a non-bundle game is a game you bought in the store with the sole purpose of gifting.
Not to say bundle games are not fun or will not be appreciated by the winner (a game is a game after all), but that may be why they are seen as "lesser" giveaways.

It's a point - Yet i don't see myself in the place where i can just buy a game or even a whole bundle to just give it away. Right now i have games that i know i won't play thus it's something useless.... If someone who wants this game can have it - I would more then gladly give it to them rather then keep it and never use it.
I don't have a good analogy but say you bought a piece of hardware that comes with extra parts that are completely useless to you and you know you don't even have the space to keep them. You also know that your neighbor needs these said parts. Would you just throw them to trash? Or you rather help your neighbor out?

Oh, don't get me wrong, I have no issue with bundle games myself; I have given away tons of them and I enter for lots as well. Just giving an idea of why some people don't value them as much as say, if someone went to the store and bought their favorite game with the sole purpose of giving it to someone and spread the joy of that game.
Like with your analogue above, if you gave your neighbor your spare parts I'm sure he would appreciate it, but not as much as if you went out and bought him a gift.
I'm not saying anyone has to gift in one way or another, or at all. People have different budgets and attitudes when it comes to giving things away and I have always been just as thankful for my bundle wins as my "non-bundle" wins.

Humans are greedy, what can I say :)
People complain about every type of giveaway on this site; high CV, group/private, bundle, etc. I think that for some members, if it's not a AAA game that is publicly available for them to enter they will complain about it haha!

I appreciate any giveaway whatsoever. I give away bundle games when I own the game or do not want it. I don't care about CV when I do it. Its a lot better than it going to waste.
Don't worry about the loudmouths. They're obviously here for the wrong reasons.

because even steamgifts has bigots! just ignore people like that, a gift is a gift is a gift. if I'm going to be upset at anyone it's those who beg developers for free games and gain tons of CV just for begging, an act that is against the rules on this site :p

I always appreciate any giveaway, even when I don't enter and don't like the game. I don't know where you saw hate against bundled game, but ignore them. ;)

I love bundle giveaways, especially if there's one I like included. Also, more points for everyone. I don't see what's wrong with them.

So i have been wondering on the forums for quite a while now, and i notice time and time again how people show hate towards others that give away bundles or bundle games.
I wonder why? Why is it that wrong? For example there was someone who wanted to open a giveaway group and said that the requirement would be 30 CV (And some other things) and one of the people commented that he should make it 30.01 CV because 30 is the cap for people who giveaway bundles.
I personally am not employed at the moment, and i cannot buy games and having quite hard time to even buy bundles. Some of the games in these bundles i know i will never play (100% sure of it) and i know that there are people who might like them and it might make them happy. Thus i give away these games (I am not even looking at CV as such.. just saying in general) but it feels like i am some sort of an outcast on this community because these are the only types of games i am able to give away at the moment.
I personally do not care about the CV system nor my contribution rating. Giveaways should be without any gain to begin with... But it just feels bad when so many people just say that i am some sort of a bad person to give away only bundles
