Hahaha no! Like I said, this only happens during rush hours - after 6, 6:30 pm. Numerous contacts with my provider but still nothing to solve this. Further research reveals that I'm not the only one with this problem. Can't say for sure if it's everyone, but surely a lot of people. I'll change it as soon as I'm able to.

Wow, this is what $50 gets me. You are lucky, but low speeds in my area is very common. One of my friends used to use DSL up until about a year ago, their connection was about 1-2 mbps, it was horrible. The main reason we have super low speeds in our area is because of Verizon, they decided to wire fiber optic into every house in my small suburban city; the pricing for internet was insane. It was REALLY overpriced, pretty much no one used the Verizon Fiber Optic, and because it was so pricey all the other companies also ramped up their prices.

That sucks! Honestly I would be happy with my 2mb speed as long as the stuff I mentioned didn't happen. What makes it even worse is that the time frame when it's horrible is my main time frame spent on the pc. But comparing your speed with other's here I can see what you say. Too bad most of the time there isn't really something we can do about it.

Yea, back when we used to have DSL (a couple years ago) our phone also ran through the phone line. So whenever someone would call the internet would 100% go down, and my mom would talk with her family over the phone forever so the internet almost never worked. We also had the same exact issue with DSL back then also, during 1 PM - 6 PM, the internet was supposed to be 5 Mbps, but during that time it would go down to about 3 Mbps, and during rush hour it was the worst and would go down to about 1 Mbps; and about every 15-30 minutes the internet would cut off for a couple of minutes. It pissed me off so much because I would be playing an online game and I would just randomly get kicked because of it.
It pissed everyone off so much in my family that we just got Fiber Optic from at&t and the internet speeds stay at a consistent 14 Mbps throughout the day. The internet cuts off from time to time (every couple of days) for a couple of minutes but that's it. I recommend you to get Fiber Optic, for us it was pricey to get all the Fiber Optic cables into the ground (we didn't use Verizon's), but after that it's all good.

Why are you connecting to a server in Las Vegas when you are in Russia?

Game developers should at least read the FAQ. >:(
Kidding, kidding. No harm done. :D

I suppose. I didn't realize this was a 'frequently asked' question. I had no reason to believe a developer/publisher tier even existed, so I didn't think there was a reason to read the entire faq to find it.
I think a special link for developers/publishers at the top of the page, or a special message when you go to create a giveaway, would really be helpful.

Right well as a publisher, I had no idea my concern would show up in a FAQ. Truthfully, I was about to give up on this site as it would only let me do a tiny giveaway. I posted here on the forum as a shot in the dark.
So I guess if users of this site want more free games, they should pressure its creators to make things a little more user-friendly for publishers and developers.

It's not a matter of pressure or what users want. It's an issue of staffing. From my understanding there's only one person who can make changes to the site and as you can imagine since he's rather busy.
Also the featured giveaways ARE at the top of the site and are very similar to what you described so why wouldn't you think your issue was already something common to the site?

Hi! The Developer flag definitely is a thing here. It will remove all giveaway limits from your account. You can see all the Roles by clicking the Roles button in the bottom bar.

I am a publisher of 13 popular titles on Steam. I'd like to do some big (50-100 copies) giveaways on this site, to promote some new games our developers have on Greenlight.
Currently there are a lot of restrictions on my account. I can only do one giveaway at a time, and those are limited to 3 keys each.
I understand those restrictions are there for a reason, but I'm a legit publisher and am not planning to spam f2p game keys or anything like that. None of our games are f2p. The majority sell for over $4.
Thank you.
