You can just give a review like any other reviews. Just give sources to back up your allegations to warn future potential traders.

When it was together it works aswell... And good, now anyone can come here. So i can create second Steam, build rep on freebies and scam some AAA titles coz i have better rep. No man i think this is not good open for all. Also some guy is registred and just spam some stupid site, if he get banned he can create another Steam and continue. Trading is about money and games, it would be safe, not for any kid who do not understand how it works (he offer 5 freebies from dlh for Rocket League but iam idiot coz price of these games on Steam is higer than RL xD or non sense as 0 rep trader "i wont go first" and tell this to me 500rep and if i decline he call me scammer) or unlimited amout of shady alts. Cg added safety things and reo system and then is all fuked by this. If u trading active u know this is not good really.
[H] 10 steam keys [W] CSGO game - he got 10 freebies
[H] Dirt 3 Complete edition [W] Tomb Raider GOTY Edition Or Inside Or one Good Game
and tons of threads like this from newbies registed in weeks - hours, "legit newbie traders" are maybe 2% of them, hurt to wholce community coz few newies? Anyone can resgister and its not good on trading purposes, i have 500rep and i can see difference in trades now, really not good thing. $100 was minimal, some pipolz also wanted make it more but instead of it its $0. God no :(

Please, can somebody of admins/mods fix damage which this guy made to innocent traders/people on Steamtrades? He ruined more then 100 profiles for just fun (some of them didn't gave him negative rep back. On Steamtrades there is no "support" option and this is so obvious that is fake, so I think we (innocent people who picked for victims) don't need to wait for slow "vote on reviews" system. Also, would be awesome if this guy get deserved ban until he ruin more profiles just for some sick fun...

Registration isn't available to everyone on SteamTrades, and the users need a non-limited Steam account.

Then whats are limits? I know about non limited accounts, but other limits are? I saw so many shady profiles full of poor games, low steam level, seems like idle alts. So other limits are? Also idk why &100 is gone, it was good limit. I rlly can se difference in trades after this change....

At least I assume that cg is talking about these limits.

I know and I think that cg using Steam's API to check those $5 (spend on Steam, bundle key will not work).

i guess the security is the rep system, as it always has been. trading with low-rep traders is always a potential risk, and has always been. and on the other hand, a registration limit of 100$ is no guarantee. we had enough scammers on the site to prove that. what i mean by that is, that if it stays that way, we just have to be as careful as we always should have been. i still agree with you. some requirement (whether that'd be 100$ or something else) would be nice and would definitely lower the risk of scams.

Thanks for the heads up, the user has been permanently suspended and the reviews removed.

It's great that this one got sorted. But I think this is going to be a fundamental problem with free registration. Several times during trades I got threatened with negative rep from not only the person I was dealing with but many alt accounts if I didn't go along with something I was unhappy with - and that isn't even taking into account the problem of large amounts of fake positive rep from alts. You might want to think about this one...
[Edit - just saw your recent comment, but I still think this is too exploitable]

people do what they want... spam, advertising, hijacking and that all without consequences...

I mean it is another site www steamtrades com, and it requires "Sign in through STEAM".)
And how trade works? Automatically through this site, or as usual through Steam?

Steamtrades only "gathers" announcements (and feedbacks). The trades are made elsewhere, where and how the two traders choose to do them.
It was born as an appendix of SG and now (since a couple of months ago) it is a completely separate site, but still is totally trustable.
So, as jims9350 said, I think that "you already are there" since at the time that you registered on SG the two sites probably shared their users database.

Hello Purpur3141.
We understand your concern; however, as you may know trading is no longer a part of SteamGifts, and as of October trading has been moved to www.steamtrades.com.
Since these two services are now separate, the support systems are no longer integrated, and the SteamGifts team is unable to assist with SteamTrades related matters. For issues regarding negative reviews, SteamTrades offers a voting system to help with their removal. If a user has received a negative review, they can reply to the review on their SteamTrades profile. Both the negative review, and their reply will then be displayed to the community, and the users of SteamTrades will be able to vote on whether they feel the review is deserved, or whether it should be automatically removed from their profile.
As the support team at SteamGifts cannot assist with trade related issues, we will close this ticket. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Have a nice day.

Whatever it was, he doesn't have any negative feedback on his ST profile, so the community voting may have worked to solve it.

negative review wasn't even what he was complaining about though. it's the chaos being slung around with shitpost, advertising, hijacking, & lately even harassment that has been going on that is their (& even mine as an inactive trader) concern.
mully really nailed it with that photo, lol. it's just plain "weirdness" that it's remained that way for this long too.

I'll post this here since I can't find a place in steamtrades.
I think it would be useful if steamtrades also checked a user's status on steamrep and displayed a warning if needed.
A lot of scammers out there are boosting their reputation by idling/trading cards/giving free games and then they find some noob and steal everything. Even with negative reps, some users still trust them because their overall ratio is positive. I've seen people get scammed by certified SR scammers who continue to remain active and make excuses for their feedback. A lot of people don't have SteamEnhanced, check Steamrep or even know it exists. I think a lot of cases of fraud could be prevented if we add this extra measure.

That's not even a huge problem. :P On steamtrades, people can do anything they want, without consequences. Like, I could go spam inside your thread or write bullshit about you (that's just an example - I won't do it obviously) and you wouldn't be able to do anything, because there's no support on steamtrades and -rep comments are only allowed if you've traded with someone. And they should also find a way to fight the scammers that have infested the site.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, they haven't made a trade FAQ yet, no support members on steamtrades, no banning (at least I haven't seen any bans there), a scammer infestation, etc. Well, for example, I have to say that I have no complaints about tf2outpost. You should check it out too. It has a really good support. The problem is that you can only trade gifts there, because, when creating a trade, you must select something you already have in your inventory. I'm always trying to find more and more trading sites, besides the famous ones I already know. :/

Thanks for the suggestion, but quite useless to me since I very rarely trade gifts. Or CS:GO skins or whatever most trading sites seem to be about. But it's not like I'm going to get scammed so it only leaves being annoyed by spam and other crap. :)

Negative Review Voting
To help improve the quality of negative reviews and to help remove negative reviews that do not meet our standards, we added a voting page, where users can vote on negative reviews from others in the community. Using the guidelines listed, users can vote on whether a negative review should be allowed, or whether it should be removed from our site. Reviews will be automatically removed if decided on by the community.
How many votes does one need to get a fake negative rep removed?
Comment has been collapsed.
Our system will automatically delete a negative review if at least 60% of voters believe it should be removed.

It's not hard if you have fully read my comment and our chat.
First one wasn't great but it was ok. I mean he didn't try to scam me or something. And I left a positive feedback about firs trade. The second time is another story. He tried to fool me and he gets his -Rep. After that he left his negative comment in a "revenge" - it's clearly against SteamTrades rules. He also lied in his comment multiple times (again - you can see it if you check my screens of our chat).

Hi SG, we're rolling out some updates to our trade section in the next 24 hours. These changes are mostly geared towards the separation of trades to SteamTrades.com, and improving on the feedback system. No major changes to the core of the trading system are happening in this particular update and the site will still maintain the familiar discussion based format. However, like most users, I'd like to see improvements in that area in the near future. Below is the upcoming announcement to be listed on SteamTrades.com, highlighting some of the more noteworthy changes.
User Reputation for All Steam Users
To help SteamTrades continue to grow as a leader in Steam user reputation, our site now allows reputation to be written for every individual with a Steam account. To leave a review for a user, simply visit our homepage and search for a Steam user using their Steam ID, Steam vanity name, or Steam profile URL. Once forwarded to their SteamTrades profile, you'll see an input box at the bottom of their profile allowing you to leave a review regarding your trading experience together.
Replies to Negative Reviews
If a user has left a negative review on your profile, SteamTrades now allows you to write a public reply to their review. This way you can better inform users visiting your profile about why that review exists, and at the same time it provides you with an opportunity to share additional details the user might have excluded from their review. Below a negative review on your profile you'll see a Reply button, which you can click to add your reply. Please note, replies are only available for negative reviews.
User Profiles and Safety Check
User profiles now contain a safety check. This data is updated hourly, and helps you to be aware of any Steam infractions a user may have against their account (such as VAC or game bans). As well, user profiles show when a user registered on Steam, when they were last logged into Steam, their Steam level, and their game count (if their Steam account is public). Combined with our user reviews, this data can help you better determine a user's overall reputation before trading.
Design and Interface
Our entire site has been redesigned and recoded with a wide variety of improvements. The changes allows for quicker replies, and overall faster load times. Our database is now separate from our sister site, SteamGifts. Users with previous trades or reputation have been automatically moved to our new site. However, with separate databases, this will mean usernames on SteamTrades may differ from those on SteamGifts, and suspensions on one site do not affect usage on the other. For that reason, profiles on SteamTrades link to Steam IDs, rather than usernames to help avoid confusion.
