I thank you for the gibs, but can't provide proper suggestions. The only light novel I ever read is the Full Metal Panic series, at least the first 4 volumes as they are officially translated to my language, too bad they stopped for apparently no reason two years ago. It's an old light novel, but I'm an old guy, and I loved the anime.

Never ever again! Yet, that's the perfect time for them to proceed with releasing the remaining books, considering the upcoming new season for the anime. So I still have hopes for them...

I think they want to reach a certain number of sales before translating the next volume, but if they keep doing this they'll never finish the series...

They keep selling the mangas, with spin-offs and the reprint of the original series last year. I suppose light novels are harder to translate and have less appeal? With people preferring the manga format with their "unofficial" version of the story instead of reading the novels, on which is based the anime? Probably, and I understand Panini/PlanetManga are trying to run a business but it's the lack of communications that really get on my nerves.
