Just another greedy indie dev. And the game looks like crap anyway.

Who the fuck is still buying zombie games?

Comment has been collapsed.

It's not a game about zombies AFAIR, despite it's oh-so-ironic title. Was supposed to be the joke or something.

Yeah something about workplace "zombies" I assume. Or something else he thought would be incredibly clever.

seriously this must be joke. Indie devs usually make their games for ultimate fun , not for moar money , for moar gaming . I hope one day he find himself inside activision/ea/blizzard teams so real gamers can curse him moar.

not possible. Trash, garbage and other negative tags are censored by steam

Too bad, for this game they would be informative.

In this case they may not be censored - game is about corporate, money grubbing assholes - doesn't that sum up this whole situation also? :D

There are a lot of scumbags out there and basically, they win. "Zombies." will be released on Steam, you'll get your keys.

Now he says his contracts didn't say anything about providing keys? WTF?! Did he fail or did many bundle sites fail?

BTW am I only one who gets 90s shareware vibe from the game?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

It's actually possible. When we were doing research for Blink Bundle we saw a few agreements that other bundles were using, and they were generic licensing agreements (that you can get free from widely used sites) that were only slightly altered. They didn't include many things that should be included in a bundle agreement.

That's why I'm glad we went the more formal route and invested in proper documents specific to what we're doing.

I remember him promising on his greenlight page that no matter where we bought the game, we would get keys.

This is the first developer ever that even when he promises steam keys, he will not provide.

Well, I got it for free a long ago in gmg, so I really don't mind not getting a steam key for it, since I got it for free :P

But for who bought it in bundles, it must be really annoying.

Same here. I wouldn't expect a key from that one, but I also got it bundled and have it in Desura.

I just noticed a response on the Desura page.

I haven't been actively developing the game in the past year, but it appears to be doing well on Greenlight. If it makes it onto Steam, I'm considering adding some additional language options as well as game pad support but I can't promise anything at the moment.

Yet one of his excuses was new content?

If I buy this elsewhere, can I get a Steam redeem code? - Short answer: If Valve allows it, then yes.

so I hope this proves it, since the faq he originally made that statement is now deleted and also his tweet is deleted so only those quotes are left.
But you can see he originally promised himself handing out keys!

After this little tantrum I can say I wont buy anything from this guy, nor activate any game from him even if given to me free of charge. I wont help him get money from cards or anything like that.

It was his call to put the game in a bundle, when he did it he knew what the averages were for similar kinds of bundles and then he made the decision to do it anyway because it would help the game go through greenligth. This whole thing ending with him insulting his customers is going to cost him greatly in the future I guess.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

He won't get money from cards until you sell them on market so you can activate his game to give him a negative rating (Of course, if you believe game is not good ;) )
