Every fan looks up to the sky and quietly says: "It's here." and then goes to his/her favourite forum and chat to yell: "HALF-LIFE 3 IS COMING!"

Honestly? I think they should just do it casually. Although the fans have been waiting for a long time, it'd be best to not make a big deal out of it and just give the fans what they want. They shouldn't over exaggerate it because it's not the best thing to happen, and they shouldn't sell it short because a lot of fans will kill for this game, most likely.
