There's a few that I would like to see more of (some have already been mentioned, some not):
Dangerous Dave (Just because this game was my childhood).
Snatcher.
Terranigma.
Rayman.
Wipeout.
PaRappa the Rapper.
MegaMan Legends.
Banjo-Kazooie.
Unreal.
Parasite Eve.
StarCraft.
Deus Ex.
The Longest Journey / Dreamfall.
Sacrifice.
Dark Cloud / Dark Chronicle.
No One Lives Forever.
Conker's Bad Fur Day.
Burnout.
Midnight Club.
Fatal Frame.
Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem.
BloodRayne.
FlatOut.
Beyond Good & Evil.
Vampire the Masquarade: Bloodlines (A real RPG sequel to it, not the upcoming modern action game that is masquerading as its sequel).
NFS Underground and Most Wanted.
Jade Empire.
Condemned: Criminal Origins.
F.E.A.R.
Rule of Rose.
Bully.
Folklore.
Mirror's Edge.
Dragon Age: Origins (A proper sequel).
Silent Hill: Shattered Memories (Would love a sequel/remake or a new Silent Hill without direct combat).
Alpha Protocol.
Fallout: New Vegas (or Fallout 1 & 2).
Catherine.
Asura's Wrath.
Kenshi.
Remember Me.
South Park: The Stick of Truth/Fractured but Whole (i.e. good 2D South-Park games)
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor.
Bloodborne.
Outer Wilds.
Though the one I'd want the most would be another Alice game from American McGee. Yet, that seems extremely unlikely at this point.
Alice Madness Returns sequel (Alice Aslyum), had all of the design aspects (art, levels, story, dialogue) fully completed and planned out (check out the design Bible they released for free, if you haven't heard of it, they worked on it for about a decade), but after EA looked at it and said no (they own the IP), McGee gave up and said he had tried everything for over a decade, but it is clear the game is never happening, and so he is retiring from game development. Still, I would love nothing more than for his vision to be realised one day, and to get the third entry in the series.

Okay, you just killed me with nostalgia here.
There are so many games that i saw in your list and i was like "hey give me back one of these"
And i'm also with you on Alice games. But you know how EA is called now .... "License Killer"

I forgot about Parasite Eve. Thanks for reminding me time to play it again

FINALLY remembered one I have been trying to think of.
Sunset Overdrive DESPERATELY needs a sequel. That game was FAR more fun than it should have been.
Also, a remake of Split/Second.

Gotta be the weird one and say that I wish for a remake of Final Liberation: Warhammer Epic 40,000, Dark Omen and Shadow of the Horned Rat

Although it never game to pc it remains one of my favorite game series.
Custom Robo
There's just nothing quite like it. A combination of mecha customization and arena battler that is so simple to pick up yet so satisfying to play. In particular the gamecube one shaped my childhood with amazing music and a story that was so over the top ridiculous that I was always laughing.

Splinter cell
Max payne
Mad max
Freedon fighters
Sleeping dogs
These are the only few i badly wanted a remake or a sequal. I really miss these games.

I think Max Payne 1 and 2 will get a remake, or at least it has been talked about it,can't remember for sure.
Also I would pay the full price if Freedom Fighters would get remaked or even better a sequel.

Oh GOD! How could I have forgotten about another old favorite - Freelancer?
I could kick myself for that one.

I have a few obscure picks, mostly those originally programmed in DOS..
There is Nuclear War, which is a nuclear war simulator with a black comedy twist. DEFCON is the closest thing to a reboot, albeit with a serious tone.
I can also recommend [Heaven and Earth](https://www.myabandonware.com/game/heaven-earth-1fb, which is a meditation card game which can be great is remade for modern systems.
Champion of the Rajis also a pretty good turn-based strategy game which lets you play as one of the powers taking over the beautiful subcontinent of India.
Surprisingly, SimEarth is relatively ignored despite being owned by the same company which has The Sims and SimCity.
My favourite of the old DOS games is the Millennium: Return to Earth, where you are in charge of a lunar colony after Earth suddenly becomes uninhabitable. The goal of the game is to colonize the solar system while finishing a war against the aggressive mutants from Mars. It had several ports and a remake for Windows 98, but there is potential for a remake for a new generation.

Here are some games/series I'd like to see new games for, or at least remasters of titles which haven't gotten a remaster or rerelease.
PaRappa the Rapper and Um Jammer Lammy
Monster Rancher
Dead Rising
God Hand
Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem
Parasite Eve
Snatcher
Bully
Splinter Cell
Timesplitters
The Simpsons: Hit & Run
Mega Man Legends
Silent Hill
And I want them on Steam and Good Old Games.

AoM in the works? Awesome. You made my day!
There are two more recent Dune Games: Dune: Spice Wars and Dune: Awakening but they are not really a RTS Game. There is also the OpenRA project which recreates RTS classics but I 'd prefer a complete remake.

It was already mentioned, but I would love to have Simpsons Hit and Run remade.
But along with that I would love to have old colin mcrae rallies remade as well. Well, maybe not remade (since in general everybody seems to fuck up remakes), but at least HD upscale, retouched details. Nothing much, but preferably to run on modern systems, resolution, be available on Steam for one. Loved CMR2004 and 2005. I still have some pirated old versions somewhere laying around, but would love to see it refreshed and legally available.

Drakengard. A remake of the first game, or at least a port of the third for PC and current-gen consoles. But first, we need a hero to remind Square Enix that they actually have such an IP.

I've loved the first two Thief games since I first found them, and I'd love to see them rebuilt in a modern context. Honestly I don't know if that's possible though - in some ways, I think the games were so spectacular at the time because they kited the technology, using the limits of what a game could do as a feature to contain the story they were telling. They are still playable, or at least they were the last time I tried them, but they look and feel like ancient history now.

Actually I have not - I own it, but I was very busy when it came out and didn't have a lot of game-time. I watched some bits for atmosphere on YouTube, which is not a substitute, and it was an obvious improvement over Thief 3. Then some time passed, and some more, and you know how it goes, all of a sudden a decade had gone past. I should really dust it off and get it installed!
I'd still like to see the first two brought back into the world; they were amazing.

So I was just looking up random things like always and for some reason I got to remembering some old fighting games I haven't seen in a LONG time.
So I thought I'd ask. What games would you like to see make a comeback as a new game? Or even as an HD remake.
I know this has been discussed in the past but I haven't seen this in some time and I know there are some games we would have thought of later on and didn't want to necro an old topic.
Some I'd like to see are-Gunman Chronicles. I'd LOVE to see another adventure as I LOVED this game back in the day.
I know almost EVERYONE is going to say Skies of Arcadia and I WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree 100%.
Battle Arena Toshinden. I loved this franchise and this is what got me thinking of this topic. This and also the Bloody Roar games too.
And while we are at it, maybe the Rival Schools games too.
One more I want to see is the Gigawing games make a return. I have the first on steam but the second, a MASSIVE favorite of mine, is still in limbo.
So, what games would you, the denizens of SG, love to see make a comeback?
Also, a couple of GA's hidden behind my favorite thing - jidigies.
