Oh hey, I can finally get D2 for the price that fits this kind of game? Great!

Edit: Or not. It wants SMS protection, not sure I want to do that.

That's probably to stop people from making multiple accounts with multiple e-mail addys then selling them off later.

Hmm, you're probably right :) Still, I need to think about if the game is worth giving them my phone number. Considering I'm never going to spend any money whatsoever on that game... Good thing I have till 18th to decide haha!

I saw Overwatch trending on twitter just now and thought it was going f2p. Anyway, I gotta say, this is not something I expected.

Hey! I'm special I got something for free!

WAIT....!

Interesting offer tbh, but have 0 time to play the games I like, have even less time to play a game that requires cooperative to reach the core.

Is it actually worth playing? Or should I just stick with Warframe?

I hate F2P games but I had way more fun in Warframe. The traversal mechanics and sword play is vastly superior to Destiny.

Pay 12 bucks for a game to only get it free a couple of months later. Great deal from Humble. Not to mention that Destiny 2 is trash.

ok so for myself i had no "gift" page on battle.net neither on the launcher nothing to "claim" the game was able to purchase it for 39.99 or 59 € whichever i prefer. Launched the launcher ... same option to buy it but still no trace of that giveaway.
If you're in that same exact situation just copy paste : https://us.account.blizzard.com/gifts/ and you will see that famous gift but seriously no link from nowhere to that page.

In the launcher click on your name in the upper right side then click on View Gifts. That's the same page.

I kinda butthurt they put it for free after that Monthly. Hopefully nobody else feels this way.

But to think about it, this opens up the possibility of another Acti-blizz games being free e.g new CoD no matter how long it takes. Unlike, say, Warcraft 3 where it's been 15 years nowhere near 'free'.

I'm thinking they only made it free since it's kinda a failure. What with Bungie doing everything in their power to skim the players and all.
