Ending + stealth sections were my main problem.Though I really liked how paying attention helped in the game - 1for example you can look for the child near the end randomly, or remember the painting outside of the room during the vision, speeding up your search a LOT, or remembering how you got to the man's cell in the asylum (the guard told you exactly where to go) helps not to pick the wrong corridor during the blackout, etc. It was really nice after the similar, but incredibly handholding Telltale games~

I can't count how many otherwise okay games I've hit a wall with because they suddenly threw a poorly designed stealth section where just being seen is a loss condition at me.
I did make it through Fahrenheit, but if I remember correctly that's where the whole game goes off the rails anyway so I might've been better off just putting it down.

Yes, the second, harder stealth section as a flashback. I know it was important because about the radiation and such, but as you said, ending is so wonky that it hardly matters. The last fights were really intresting and pretty challenging, but the reasoning, the plot... it just disappears near the end :D

Uriel's Chasm you can close the thread , or Shattered Haven. (Daikatana is to be played - and I entered for with the knowledge about the game :D )
When I was pretty new here, got into Bundle Quest early and I was almost high, how easy was to win games there. So I entered for a few games that looked intresting (These didn't have the notoriously bad reputation back in that time) only to realize much later when I played them how utter shits they are

True. Winning something and complaining about it is a real douchebag move.

Why? I mean if one doesn't know that it's not a good game, then it's perfectly fine to complain, but only about the game. Blaming the creator - that's the douche part, as every single of us entered for giveaways because we wanted the game. Or by mistake :D
I really wanted to get Shattered Haven because I thought it's good. It's not. It's boring as hell and really bad. But I'm still happy that I won it because without the giveaway I couldn't have tried it out

There are games I had in my wishlist, thought that I would enjoy them, bought them myself and realised that they were bad. It's not the price, the fact that you don't appreciate that someone bought it, but that the product has some overwhelming flaws. You can appreciate someone's intentions without actually liking the product (which you believed you'd like in the first place, but it turned out that you can't get pass some of it's problems).

Cause the guy that gave you the game actually payed something for it (even if it's 10 cents). When you get something for free you just say "Thank you". Even if you are only going to farm the cards.
If I am the creator of the giveaway and see some kid complaining about the game he won on the forums I will instantly blacklist him.

I guess we're just different then. I know the quality of the games I'm giving away, I wouldn't be surprised if someone would say that for example Deadly Profits is shit, because it's true. But they are judging the game, not me, and as I can't make a game better or worse by giving it away, why should I feel offended? I rather hear someone's own opinion about a game then them saying only a thanks because that's the nice thing to do, as they do not owe anything towards me. I value honesty over fake courtesy as honesty makes situations way easier. I rather have someone truly appreciate good gifts and says the problems with the others than someone who just says a thanks for everything - it helps me to find what a person likes, and easier to find more personalized gifts

Oh, I just realized something.
I was answering to the title - worst game won, not to the description about having regrets. I don't regret any of them, and I'm still thankful for winning even the worst games I tried, because I could try them for free, thanks to someone who was giving them away. But I still think that Uriel's Chasm is the worst game I tried :D

I'll go with Deathtrack Resurrection. The supposed sequel to the 1989 Deathtrack, but instead of being a semi-realistic racer with weapons, it's a pretty poor Mario kart clone...

I'm obviously not very good at judging games by reading descriptions/review about them .. Here's my top ten of games that in hindsite I wish I hadn't entered for (but I played them all, at least enough, even if it was only a few minutes, to find out they weren't for me)
Uncrowded : I wasn't expecting much but was still disappointed
Screencheat : I was expecting a lot and couldn't believe it gets around 95% positive reviews. I was definitely in the other 5%
Risk of Rain : Wishlisted game that just completely failed to grab me
Blowy Fish : Really got this for my eldest son to play but it was so shockingly bad I hadn't the heart to inflict it on him
The Tower Of Elements : I think I got confused with Towerfall Ascension, which I now have and is a great game :)
Bernie Needs Love : I still am unsure what made me enter for this but I only enter for games that pique my interest but my interest was unpiqued just a few minutes into this one.
StoryMode - A Game About Crafting : It still sounds like a good game but I just couldn't get passed the awful interface ..
Chompy Chomp Chomp : Another one won for my son to play but it was pretty dreadful :(
Gods Will Be Watching : I was gutted about not liking this one. Wishlisted game that still sounds good but I just couldn't get into it at all :( It was off a white list GA too which made it all the worse ..
NotGTAV : It sounded really funny but it simply turned out not to be my type of humour and the gameplay well ..

I will take your advice. I really should like this game tbh, I find it difficult to know what games I will like. Generally I like game for its game play but particularly like stylised ga.es with an original concept.

Skyscraper Simulator. At first, it wouldn't even start, but when it eventually did, I wished it didn't.

Definelty Viscera Cleanup Detail, because the GA creator messed up the GA and told me he had no key for it but instead he send me Viscera Cleanup Detail: Santa's Rampage. Back then i was not well familiar with the RULES, and i believed him because everyone can make a mistake, but when i think of it i think he just lied to me to get more CV.The worst part is that i even got suspended for this.

Pineview Drive. Wanted it for a long time, but it runs like crap. One of the wirst optimized games I've seen in my life.

What games have you entered to win and immediately regretted entering?
Mine would have to be Once Bitten Twice Dead and The Slaughtering Grounds.
