So I thought I'd put together a little train bearing some Christmas gifts made by or inspired by Japanese devs. I also wanted to introduce some of the really cool thematic trains that they have here in Kyushu (all around Japan really, but I've used the Kyushu trains most frequently so these are closest to my heart). Japan's rail system is truly fantastic -- the legendary precision they run with and the ability to keep on schedule down to the second is no lie.

GA's range from Levels 0-5 in requirements for entry.
All train GA's end on Christmas Day, for a little extra something something in your stocking to enjoy. :)

Without further adieu, please hop on board and enjoy the ride!

I love Japanese trains, but hate the price :(
Thanks for the trains in the train so we can enjoy admiring trains while riding a train!

Yes, they are expensive, aren't they? But I guess they have to pay for the upkeep and fancy designs somehow. But it does seem a little strange when airfare is usually cheaper than train fare for equivalent distances.

Great train, very informative :-)
I live in Kansai area, so haven't seen all of those trains. But you're absolutely right, Japan has the best rail service, I love it. Entered the Hanafuda giveaway as that's one I really want to try. ありがとう!

The Koi Koi Hanafuda game is pretty fun, I had always wanted to learn some sort of game that uses Hanafuda cards since I love the designs and it serves as a decent intro to the game and getting familiar with how Hanafuda cards are organized. Once you play a couple dozen rounds or so though it becomes apparent that the AI is very basic and the game lacks variety and depth -- still a good starting point I think.

Thanks for the information! Too bad they didn't add a little more to the game. But as your say, still quite a good introduction and practice method :-)
Hope you enjoy your Christmas and New year vacation, and hope you can eat something nicer than KFC ;-)
