I have never made promotional GA here, and still do not. :3 But, I would like to tell you about one game, all of a sudden, you will like it.
It's about "Go to IT" game.
My friends in the fall released a game in which they invested a lot of work and effort, and, completely squander with marketing for lack of experience and it hurts me to look at it. The game is still in early access, but the team continues to actively work on it and listens to the comments. The game tells the worker about the existence of an IT company, its management and life. The guys have a lot of ideas about the improvements, they are going to add more learning segments to it, so that the game could be useful not only to fans of simulators, but also to be a guide to people of related professions who want to improve their skills. And now they are also looking for ways with which their target audience will be able to hear about them, in order to find each other.

Yes, the segment is really narrow. The guys stubbornly decided to do what they themselves love (this is why I attached this particular image in the title) for those to whom it may be interesting. From a marketing point, this is not the most reasonable decision, but precisely because of such decisions we have such a diverse consumer market, where everyone can find what they like.

Not going to perpetuate stereotypes here but, if you are an introvert developer, marketing can be a daunting task. If I myself would develop a game I am sure I will suffer with the marketing process. There are some agencies and services you can pay to avoid this task but some of them are a bit scammy and success is not guaranteed. You can pay for Google ads but reports prove that they are not reliable.
