Description

No "Thanks" plz. But i will accept some Science(or other area) cool facts.

Science fact: pure water is very bad at conducting electricity. Most water we see has some kind of salt of minerals dissolved in it, making it very conductive.

So, i can throw water from my distiller into my PC that it won't be a problem? :D

No.
First thing - it can dissolve some dust or copper or anything from the surface of PC board and improve conductivity.
Second thing - PC is sensitive even for bad conductivity... (and it's nod bad enough to be treated as isolator).

I mean, you can, but that doesn't mean it's a good idea. It will most likely let the magic smoke out.

Here's a science fact: Even though gold and copper are used widely in electronic parts for their excellent electrical conductivity (e.g. copper is most often used for electrical wires and gold is most often used for connectors on PCBs). they are in fact not the best electrical conductors; the best metal electrical conductor is actually silver!
Of course, silver is too expensive to be used for wires and its tendency to tarnish makes it a poor choice for connectors, so that's why we use other metals.
Also, silver's natural form rarely forms crystals, instead it has quite an odd, crooked (in geology called dendritic) habit, as seen in this image:

So, why do we use Gold if it's more expensive than silver? Because of it being so malleable?

Because we don't use gold for wires.
We just cover cable ends and terminals with gold to protect them from corrosion.

Just like Scondo said, even though gold is expensive, especially pure, 24K gold, it's still affordable enough to be used in tiny quantities just for connectors and cable ends.
The problem with silver is that when it tarnishes (blackens) it doesn't just change colour, it actually becomes silver sulfide, which is a much poorer conductor of electricity, so after some time we would have issues with getting enough electricity to power whatever it's connected to, if it were used as a connector, for example.

Random fact. There once was a man that could eat anything. His name was Tarrare. You should check Sam O'Nella Academy for more random bits of history.
