We're supposed to get a little snow in New York this weekend, and I'm actually a little excited about that. Last year we had no snow at all - rather just enough to qualify technically as snow but not enough to be actual snow. Areas around us got hit by winter, but the City itself had about a quarter of an inch over the whole season, and that's a dire No Snow winter. I hope the weekend forecast doesn't turn into cold gray rain along the way.
This is an old key, but it hasn't been used and it should work. I played this game ages ago and enjoyed it a lot - when I get busy in the world I often play Hidden Object Games, as they are generally short and low-pressure affairs that don't distract too much. This was a fun one.

Hope you get snow as predicted c: I don’t know if this sequel has the same voice actor as the first Brink of Consciousness, but that really elevated the game imo! It’s a little different than the standard hidden object fare, which is nice. It’s an underrated category of game :)

It's a whole different setting. I don't recall the voice actors in the Dorian Gray one - it was a while back! This one has some mechanics about getting to know the characters, and also feels different than the usual HO games. I liked them both, and wish more studios did this sort of imaginative work. Later on I got a little tired tired of the Artifex Mundi style, and these were so refreshing. A good voice actor can really make a game special - like the actor who played Garrett in the early Thief games, Stephen Russell. I still miss his work.

Those mechanics sound fun! I agree, the classics are great, but variety is the spice of life. I had to look up Garrett in Thief. A voice actor needing to be replaced is one consequence of motion capture I didn’t think of. He does have a nice voice!

It's actually snowing out there right now! Big wet flakes that make instant slush when they land. It's only going to last a short while, though, before it turns to rain. It will be just above freezing for the next few days, a little too warm for any snow to happen.

Glad you got some snow even if it doesn't hold :D
