I cheated with this one. I beat this years ago, but its worth making a giveaway for!
Detroit: Become Human is a choice driven game, much like Telltale, where its more like playing a movie with choices that impact the ending. It follows three different characters and their different journies of self realization. The story can be a bit on the nose with its social commentary, but its still a fantastic narrative with very lovable characters. The choices really do matter. There are 85 possible ending variations and you can play the game several times and not see everything.
What is a game you added to your library this year that you are most excited to play?

My wife gave me Stray, a game that had been on my wish list since its release. It's been a fun journey, though a short one. Now she's the one enjoying the feline gameplay.

Stray has also been on my wishlist, but I've been holding off since I have so many games already. I'm glad to hear its good.

Ooo i can still recall the final level where they protest. "We want freedom!! We are alive!!" Hell yea, awesome game!
It was a gift! A Plague tale: Requiem! I played part 1 with dad....we loved it sooo much. Im really looking forward to play part 2 with him. Headache part is convincing him to sit with me for it haha.

There's two game I bought this year that I really wanted to play it's Star Trek Resurgence and Cornucopia Have started both not too long ago, so I'm unsure if they'll live up to the hype, but for now Cornucopia is pretty fun.
Comment has been collapsed.
Thank you! I've never heard of Cornucopia but it looks like something I'd enjoy. Have fun!

Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, already played it but I need to go back and finish it
Comment has been collapsed.
I've never played a Pathfinder game. Does it matter which one I start on?
Comment has been collapsed.
They are not connected and both are pretty solid rpg's. Maybe Wrath of the Righteous is a bit better

Metaphor: ReFantazio. but I'm always a little apprehensive about starting long games.

From the more recent ones Kena: Bridge of Spirits and Slay the Princess.
But I'd be lying if I'm not stoked about starting the Yakuza series from Yakuza 0, it's just an obsession waiting to happen :P
Comment has been collapsed.
Slay the Princess is a good one. I haven't played Kena yet. I played a bit of Yakuza 0 and that was a lot of fun. Hope you have fun!

Out of the 74 games I activated this year, probably Metro Last Light Redux. Just finished Metro 2033, so I was eager to know what happened next. Downloaded the game immediately after activating the game and 100% it.
Terminator: Dark Fate - Defiance is a close second. As a fan of the movie franchise, fighting and beating the machine is satisfying
Comment has been collapsed.
I forgot they made a Terminator game. I need to check it out. Have fun!
Comment has been collapsed.
They also just released a new DLC that allow you to play as the machine, also worth checking it out :)
Also, happy new year!

Kingdom Come Deliverance, I had this game on my Wishlist for a long time, but didn't really got the chance, nor the machine to run it( I don't have it now either, but GeForce is a godsent) I just started the game and I'm already loving it. Can't wait for the sequel to launch in February next year.
Comment has been collapsed.
I know people either love or hate this game, but I absolutely loved it. Can't wait for the sequel
Comment has been collapsed.
It took me a while to at least understand how the combat works and how to actually beat anything other than bandits :D
But so far in my 30ish playthrough, I didn't found anything to hate, then again, I'm a sucker for immersive games, especially medieval ones.

The Excavation of Hob's Barrow. I'm a sucker for good voice acting.

voice acting can make or break a game. It's always a nice surprise when its good

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide I was always scared to play coop games, because I am not good and did not like destroying the fun for other, but I am doing somewhat ok in the easy difficulty and having so much fun and cannot wait to play it every evening. Thank you for the train.:)

I added Little Kitty, Big City to my library this year but haven't been able to play it yet. I love these types of games. I guess the reviews are most telling of how good it will be. I did play the demo and loved it. So whenever I have the time to get into it, i'll be playing that one ^^
Thanks for the nice train, and Happy New Year!

Against the Storm
It's also SG win :) Unfortunately I was occupied with real life stuff so I hadn't much time for gaming (besides playing to point of completion some games I had already started xD Thinking back - I could spend much less time with Death End Request 2 xD I mean - it took me more than 40h to finish it for the first time... And then I did ng+ that took me about 10h xD Difference was that I used xbox controller with second play through and I discovered that you can skip almost all boring battle animations with it xD Game was nice though xD But now I feel like I wasted some time that I could use for another game xD

I haven't added anything this year, but I did get Jack Move from a giveaway here, that I'm still going through, but left on vacation so haven't finish with yet. I also grabbed Robocop and Wayfinder after I'm done with Jack Move I'll give thise a try.
Happy New Year!

I added Arma 3 in the middle of the year and it was very cool to play with my friends. In the end of the year I won Persona 4 here in Steamgifts and it is being a different experience to play!
