I have a few favorites but the most recent would have to be https://myanimelist.net/anime/33486/Boku_no_Hero_Academia_2nd_Season, I waited the whole time so it would finish airing completely and then binged it in 2 days. >.>

Should definitely start on the 1st season of course (which is shorter), and a 3rd season has already been confirmed, so it's very popular. :)

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Ghost Hound, Shiki, etc. I would recommend them if you are a "horror" and "mystery" fan. :)
As for movies : Princess Mononoke and Paprika !
