technically dying every second but even medically-informed estimations are just that; the concept of time as used to constrict ourselves is what's meaningless, though it can be argued that time exists independently of us considering celestial movements

But is motion real at all?

So what is is (apparently able to be reduced to nothing and everything(?)) and what we think we know is naught but projection

What is time? Time is merely that that stops everything from happening at once. It's so meaningless in the grand scheme of the universe, that of all the creatures on earth, only humans pay attention to it.
Why are we so obsessed? Because of greed. We define time so we can stuff as much bullshit into it, that we can feel better about ourselves - and not one other species on earth gives a crap :)

Actually everything is meaningless. Our feeble minds have the need to give meaning and value to things, but still, the meaning is not inherit to anything, not even absolute.
Time itself is just a unity of measure, from a need to quantify the motion between what we see in your physical dimension. Basically, it's a point of view towards motion and change, but probably also non existant by itself. Perhaps, another creation of our feeble minds, to measure our own meaningless deaths.

depending on how you look at it, everything exists without us or without us, nothing exists.
that, as far as we know, we're the most intelligent in existence, our knowledge would die with us (except for those articles that'd survive, i.e. books, but then how much worth are those if there are none to comprehend them?) - so if we were to cease... "if a tree falls" and all that.
in contrast to the philosophy, logically, we're almost less than nothing (")in the grand scheme of things("), so yeah, see the hopelessness and futility discussed in the works of Lovecraft; ironically, "time marches on."
why try? life is what you make it.

I just read your thread about leaving. I wish you well wherever you end up, and I would like to be Steam friends if that is okay with you. We don't have to talk about anything SG related, just about fun things. I hope I get a reply from you, but will understand if you don't. Maybe I'll send you a hopeful friend request instead?;)
I would also like to give my condolences to you about your loss. Words are just that...usually meaningless, but they can sometimes help or hurt someone. I hope that my words help you, even if it is just a little.
I know that I could have posted in your thread, but I felt that this should be a little more private.
Take care, my friend.
