It is unfortunate and seeing all those trash games clogging up the store can be annoying, yet I wonder if Steam opening the floodgates is what's also opened up the way for actually worthwhile titles like Factorio or Hyper Light Drifter, Undertale or Hollow Knight as those are all the titles that were self-published by their developers rather than some third-party company.
