A translator insisted that he was saying he knew of a secret group of "merry men" much like himself in a forest up ahead. The secret was in the walking technique... so we obliged, as odd as it felt to walk the way we were walking, so the merry men would notice us!

Yes, well... He's been quite a source of competition for me over the years with NES sales... so - yeah... we kind of have a grudge going.
I beat him down a bunch in Smash Bros. though. He's just too slow with that big glowy sword he uses! I'm still looking pretty flawless with my complexion after all this time too, if I do say so myself. I'm aging pretty gracefully - all thanks to the mushroom power!
Also tried to get in on Soul Calibur when Link joined up, but they wouldn't let me throw hammers and said my other powers were too amazing when I turn giant, invincible, shoot fireballs, fly around with a tail or cape, etc. and they'd have to give me a nerf-bat. Just not fair... I should get one of those swords and learn it well for a future Soul Calibur debut!
