Description

Time to give work to those tiny little brain cellies
If you are stuck, taking some royal jelly might give the required boost. Btw., hope you are well. Just practice social distancing and everything will be OK.
Also to get the solution, you might need some backtracking...

Is this some kind of chess problem?

I don't know where to start, I am not familiar with chess, not to mention solving the problem.

Actually it should not be hard, it's enough if you now the basic steps. Also a couple of searches should give you the solution, once you know the right direction.

Oh boy, should have asked if it's movie related. :)
I guessed third image probably on first try and then got stuck on 400 or so guess spiral of games, literature, pokemon and just random stuff. But never movies... why I didn't thought about movies...

Also the fourth one looks like owl, and fifth one like stork or some bird. xD

Can you tell how mood music was supposed to help? Or was it just for the mood? :)

Thank for the giveaways btw, I really enjoy this puzzle ride.

You are welcome and congrats for getting this far. Good luck for the rest :)
Actually I was planning about giving a hint mentioning that playing the game could be felt like being part of a movie, but the mood music seemed to be a better choice.
...musician best known for her collaborations with composer Angelo Badalamenti and film director David Lynch
It was quite hard to find something on Youtube which is not spoiled by the mention of David Lynch, but not so hard as finding a Hoobastank clip not spoiling Daredevil :)

The Hoobastank-Daredevil-blindness-Braille connection was not so obvious for me, but Julee Cruise-Twin Peaks-David Lynch was easier to spot on..
Coming back to Braille puzzle - while it came to my mind instantaneously (15 characters to obtain 5 letters/numbers - 3 characters per one), but then I've tried to look at this from different perspective and wasted a lot of time on trying to connect it somehow with leetspeak clockwise LSPK90CW :/

Faaaaaaaaaaaaaack! I just solved it, didn't notice the time :(
It's the one game I wanted from this train...

EDIT: Anyhow..Cheers for the puzzles man.. Just bummed at the time for not making it for minutes. (And trying to copy an entire dying drive all day doesn't help with calm nerves, heh)

Don't take it too seriously. Next time soon you might have more luck and time to solve my twisted puzzles :)

It's alright man, it was the moment I arrived and just 3 minutes before it was solved. Was also one of those days as one of my drives froze and was struggling to save the data. All came together..
Have a good day! โ™ฅ

The hints are referring to the 8 queens puzzle, which has 12 basic solutions, which can be transformed by mirroring and rotating to get more. The marked tiles designate exactly one basic solution, which is no. 2 on the Wikipedia page, but mirrored. To get the code, just read the letters from left to right. It's actually self-validating, as the remaining 3 letters form the word PAD.
