NO THANKS, PLEASE!

Thank you for your interest but please DO NOT THANK ME as I don’t want to get spammed with comments. I will do you a favor by giving gifts, please do me a favor and DO NOT WRITE “THANK YOU” COMMENTS unless you have won! If you are the winner I would gladly hear a “thank you”.

If you want to thank me, please read about me and my goals:

I grew up with Atari 2600, Atari 600 XL, C64 and Amiga 500 and collected 1000+ games on steam and even same amount of boxed games from the ´80s til now. I love economic simulations and turn-based strategy games so the most games that I will give away as a gift are games I don’t like to play: fast paced games like shooters, platformer, jump’n’runs, adventures or casual games. Some games have been duplicated through collections that I bought from Humble Bundle.

I also play a MMO economic simulation on Android smartphone for more than 5 years now, which I would like to recommend to you: RESOURCES
(Android only, no Apple iOS version)

It is comparable to Pokemon Go but it is better, older and fairer: Move yourself around in the real world, scan for virtual RESOURCES (clay, gold, oil….) with your GPS-position and build your mines where ever you are! Build factories, produce goods and trade them with thousands of other players around the world and manage your empire from the couch. Focus is on construction, trading and upgrading - not on battles. You may attack other players in your near range but it is not a wargame.

There are no annoying ads in it, you do not need to buy any stuff for real money (although it is possible to support the one-man-developer) and have no restrictions for playing FREE! This game is really awesome and has an international community who helps newbies!

I hope you have fun with this STEAM-game, otherwise I’d like to see you in RESOURCES GAME (contact me ingame via ELDERMANN GmbH)

Heya, I'm the one thanker here :D

I started getting into gaming in 2005 when my dad got me a PC which was loaded with a copy of GTA: Vice City. My lord I was addicted. I didn't even know English and I just kept playing that one. Every day, whether rampages, missions, listening to radios, driving around or just messing with the game systems.

Over time I found my love for economic simulations and other tycoon typed games. I don't have an Android, but there's something about those older, more robust and less flashy economic games like Capitalism, that really hit something way better.

I doubt you're unaware of it, but I really personally like Software Inc. There's a ton you can do, whether it's making different types of programs, making live-services, selling server space, doing contract work or dabbling in the stock market. It's really bloody fun.

Darksiders III was a question mark for me when it came out. The reviews were rough and I was worried it was a cash-in. But looking at gameplay it looks so fun. Thank you so much dude! I have a couple of rough days ahead with a family member going through a rough surgery, so this is a bright spot in an otherwise scary week. Thank you.

Thank you for your warm words.
Capitalism (and Capitalism Lab) is STILL one of my favorite games and still activated at least once a year to get those good feelings as back. Same memories as your GTA-memories....

I already had Software Inc on my wishlist. With your recommendation I will buy it, as it is a 25% offer at steam now. I already played many 'software tycoons' (game dev tycoon, computer tycoon, game corp etc.) but none of these could really convince me to play it long.
Please let me recommend one game to you, too: BLUEPRINT TYCOON (minimalistic economic sim with producing, logistics and transporting). I hope, you did not knew it and will find it as amazing as I did.

Have fun with DARKSIDERS, keep the bright spot shining and stay healthy.
Many greetings to Estonia from Germany.
