I would recommend gradually increasing the time in between Plays. Clean + add on the prep for next Clean, for example. and/or maybe add a few light reps of an exercise?
video games can offer instant, short term rewards for little effort. which is fine, but it's good to balance it out a bit and stretch the other way little by little. eventually that can make the chore part easier
Before doing my tasks I usually make a list, so I start with the easiest or quickest ones. That way I take more time or have more difficulty as I go, or else I try to do more than one task before playing again (it's a way of compensate, I think).
Since you're constantly strained for time, have you considered playing slower-paced games where there is no time constraint/limit? Such as Point & Click adventure games, Puzzle-based games, JRPGs, Hidden Object games, "Walking Simulators", etc
It seems I will successfully end my first run, after a first failed attempt, radio is announcing an end and I'm growing my own food at this point. Really nice game!
