I can't see the problem to give a chance to win 2 giftable beta copies on steam ( same as Dota2 ) if the people who enter know it and they are interested to use their points :)
That's still against the rules, and also may mislead people into thinking it's an actual MNC giveaway, because they simply cant read a description. And if you really want that key, stop bitching and go register in beta, it's pretty much guaranteed you'll get a key in 1 day.

I hate people who give stuff away as well, and would like to see them punished for doing so!
The real shame here is that people who own MNC can't enter for the beta keys, as it comes up as 'exists on your account already.'
