Nah, I don't work very well with others.

When you have a good dedicated team, it's the best thing in the world!
I worked for several restaurants here and there and sometimes it was a very lonely experience because things in the kitchen were so formatted and rigid, it was worse than actually working alone.
My last two jobs though were just brilliant in that regard. There was a lot of exchange during all the prep stages and after game time, a lot of support when things were going wrong, experimentation, a lot of opportunities to grow and learn from others, it was a blast.
I started a business a few years back and I work mostly on my own now. Damn I miss teamwork.

Yeah I find that I can go either way personally. Hell most work ends up being a combination of getting things done on your own and interfacing and tackling larger projects or deadlines as a group anyways so being able to work in both equally is necessary most times. Really makes me wonder on the times when they ask this question. I mean are you just trying to see if I can get along with other people? There's better ways to ask about that. Are you trying to see if I will actually do work at all if other people aren't present to hold me accountable? There's better questions to ask to gauge that as well. Ehh, its just one of those interview staples that people just have to grit their teeth and try to guess what the employer wants to hear I guess.
Edit: have a 💙, also I like our avatar.

If I click with my team mate yes. But a large majority of the time I feel like people look down on each other and when they make a mistake themselves they do everything they can to push the blame on the other person. I realize that's a cynical view but it's been my experience in a lot of team efforts. It has shaped me into solo play preference unless it's with friends who I know own up to their mistakes light heartily, and don't get upset over it. Sorry. I rambled off a bit. XD
