What's your favorite sports-based novel? Short story? Anything in the written format for fiction that involves sports!
And if not sports, then what about something you read involving the moon or low gravity?
And, uh... if none of that, well, what's your favorite book? :P

Nuking the moon for fun! Referring to The Time Machine. Both available as book from H.G. Wells, but in this case I've just watched the movie (nice movie, but a bit fantasy-full ending).

Although it's been awhile since I read it, but Rendezvous with Rama by Arthur C. Clarke has some low gravity adventures inside an alien spaceship. I can only remember one part where low gravity comes into play though.
Thank you for the giveaway.

book? umm ^^
If you also accept Manga (or Anime) then Planetes is the best & most realistic depiction of the near future in space that I've ever seen.

Parts of it. Way back when a good friend of mine recommended it and I watched a chunk of it and loved it, but something (?) happened and I never really got to dig into it. I'd almost forgotten about it but now I am gonna revisit it this summer, so thanks.

ah, be sure to keep at it, gets steadily better as it progresses ^^
One of my most favorite and memorable show, and great soundtrack too.

Hey thanks for doing the GA. I don't have much free time anymore so I can't recommend anything too recent. However, I do recall reading The Last Shot while in high school and though it was pretty good. Sports and fiction together normally aren't my cup of tea but this kept me pretty interested.
